How r u finding the phone, if I may ask? Is it too big? Would like to order one but just confused over the 6"+ screen size :-/

Difficult to know what to make of that. 6.4" is a truly ludicrous size for a phone irrespective or how good it is.

You're also going to need to flash a Global ROM on this (is there an official one?) otherwise the Chinese adware / local apps just get annoying.

What phone? Where?

I was looking into this phone and apparently it has a wifi issue within the phone but there is a link that helps sort the problem out. I use c4etech on YouTube for phone reviews. It's and excellent channel and reviews this phone in depth and also a separate review of the camera as well as all other phones. I read about the wifi issue in the comments for the video.

Not got the phone yet but if you dont want a big screen go for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 pro as that is 5.5 version with a smaller battery at 4000mah and much cheaper.

Will work on 3. I am on 3 so happy.

Nope, 3 use 800mhz.

Or £268.43 (less with Clarity etc) at Aliexpress with 1 year 'warranty'(Spain or Germany) though no idea if the warranty is worthwhile (can't be any worse than returning to China).

800MHz aside, I get 4G on 3 UK on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro which has the same 4G channels.

As well as 1800mhz, Surprise surprise this phone supports it.

And for completeness 2100mhz for 3G. Again supported by this phone.

It's not a case of 2 out of 3 frequencies being fine, it's not a selection of beers. If you are missing a frequency you miss out on signal where others will be fine. 800mhz is better for building penetration and long distance in rural areas. You are missing out without it.

EE are currently rolling out 800mhz to their masts at great cost for this very reason.

Three only use 800mhz for VoLTE. This is only supported on a very small number of devices (16 devices from 4 manufacturers)
All are from big high street brands.

The only network you are likely to have an issue with is o2 and it's network partners. You will still have fast 3g which for most people is more than satisfactory.

Thanks a lot. My better half has note 3 pro already so wanted something different for myself ;-)

Me too. Just received mine. Looks great so far. I ordered it from Eternal Team on AliExpress on 6th August. Didn't expect it so soon.
