My wife has the Mi Mix 2 256gb. It does have NFC and it works with Android pay.

Looks like a good device but think I'll stick with my Mi 6 - better camera and slightly more pocketable.

Plus import custom tax on it, still good price, I will wait under £300 hot added

I've got the Mi A1 now on Pure Android...Loving it.
This device the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 'flagship' was on my radar but only with a price reduction, and now its happened its a steal compared to other 'High End' devices.
I watched the Keynote Live and its very very impressive, however as an ex.iPhone user I think I prefer the Pure Android....as I say VERY happy with Mi A1

Would be very wary of buying anything this expensive from China purely for the warranty issues. I'm stuck with a Nexus 6p that dies at 30% battery for the same reason.

Yep, I think £200 is my max from Chiina, still hoping Xiaomi have an Office in the UK soon

I'm the same. I've seen it being even worse and dying at 60%+.

Any recommendations for an upgrade?

£460 in total, not a deal anymore. This company will put real detail on the declare page.

Thanks OP But £400 for a device from China with little or no chance of a warranty return/replacement.
I bought a Xiaomi phone that had a battery problem and it took ages to get a Refund and that was only
a little over £100.

Nooo... Just got my Mi 6; didn't realise this was coming out at this sorta price point...

Heat added...

I have a Mi Mix 1, I got it on release and the battery lasts longer than any mainstream flagship smartphone I've owned. It came from China and has no issues. As an example my phone was last charged yesterday at around 16:00 and has been used normally since, it currently sits at 63%. It'd predecessor, a Galaxy S7 Edge would have been charged to 100% before leaving for work and now would be at maybe 20%, Samsung recognise this as normal. My point, wherever you buy a phone it's likely to be prone to shoddy battery life and the manufacturer's don't want to know.

Mi Mix 1 was gorgeous

Hot but I could not see whether this is the CN version or the Global one?

Hot but I could not see whether this is the CN version or the Global one?

My wife's phone (Mi Mix 2 256gb) came with the Chinese ROM, which supports "English and Chinese" only and contains some Chinese software. It took about 30 minutes to upload the global ROM to the phone. The global ROM supports all Android languages.

We bought it from Gearbest and it did say it's the "global version" but it wasn't. Moral of the story, don't believe the Chinese :-)

Indeed, 600 more for an all screen phone. I remember the apple 2 computer at 800 then sir Clive came along with his zx81 at 80 quid. I am waiting for some enterprising UK company to come along with an all screen zx81 equivalent. Some UK company needs to come along and blow these American dick Turpin's away

No headphone jack, disgusting

anyone had experience with this company? Reviews are concerning!

Just installed the same Live wallpaper on my Mi A1 Pure Android, it looks like a Pixel 2/XL I'm made up!

Only UK company making waves is planetcom.co.uk/ and its something of a niche product - a Psion 5 with 4G, but at £300 its tempting, I paid £499 for my Psion 5 17 years ago.

This is one seriously gorgeous phone!

I'm considering the htc u11 from car phone warehouse at £500. Any thoughts? Want to keep it under £500 if possible. Or should I wait until black Friday. This j5 with 8gb memory really takes the puss. Three apps and it's full and I constantly have memory warnings

When did you get your Nexus 6P - is it not still under warranty? I only ask because I bought mine more or less when it was released (Nov 2015) and you get a 2 year warranty from Google. I had the same issue as you and they replaced mine with a new handset, plus you then get another 2 year warranty with the replacement.

I don't know if I should go ahead with this..Please can someone help?? I do want this phone.
I don't know if I should spent nearly £400 from this website..

Did you buy your phone direct from Google? Mine was from eGlobal Central and is a Hong Kong version so Huawei UK wouldn't support a warranty claim

If you have to use wired headphones, the phone comes with a small cable (about 10cm) where one side is plugged into the phots's USB-C socket and the other side takes a standard 3.5mm headphones jack.

Obviously you won't be able to charge the phone and plug the headphones at the same time.

Had the same issue ever since android 7 came out . Replaced battery with cameron sino from Amazon after months of searching for fix.....and it worked! No more premature shut down.

What's Cameron Sino mate?

What's Cameron Sino mate?

Just a brand of battery, not the stock battery. I swapped mine out myself, but you need the correct tools to get into it with breaking the camera glass or scratching the case. If you can do that it's simple, video guide on Internet shows you step by step.
