here's my experience with eglobal

It seems astounding that you continue to advertise your mistake and ignorance of UK consumer legislation. Had you chosen to pay the merchant directly via UK credit card you would not be able to continue to embarass yourself with the consequences of your ignorance / error of judgment.

I think you'd be stupid not to choose this at this price point over any other phone!

That's if you're OK with eglobal of course, iain?

Mi mix 2 is a stonker of a phone so a 2s for nearly same as I paid is fab.
Dont forget 2.1 percent topcash !!
I believe this phone does not suffer from the notification issues unlike most of the notch phones from Xiaomi !! which has to be a good thing.

I have this phone and many apps do not let you use the custom notification ringtone you would like to. For example flashscores , outlook, gmail, all stopped allowing a custom ringtone after miui updates.
So i used the pure android firmware they released for mi mix 2s and all apps would now you let use custom ringtones so there definitely is a notification issue which is xiaomis miui software fault.
I had to go back to the original miui firmware to make the camera work better and even tho the firmware was updated xiaomi have not fixed the above apps custom ringtone issue and there are far more apps than just those that dont work, great phones but i just wish they would fix this issue

I was refferring to where notification icons would only show for a few seconds, which is a issue with the screen models of most Xiamoi phones, I must admit I did not know there was deeper issues with notifications....one thing I find with Oneplus phones....their version of Android works fantastically .....but such a crazy thing to not function correctly...come on Xiaomi sort out the notifications !!!

Anyone ever had trouble with credit card payments going through with eglobal. Tried 2 mastercards and both fail, giving this message - Transaction was declined by the payment processor or was canceled by the customer

Doesn't look like I'll be having one. For some reason they dont want me using a credit card. Not willing to use paypal

Paypal is more than likely the best option IMHO
As a reviewer on trusted reviews said "eglobal is a hit and miss", meaning there's a 50/50 chance of you receiving the product you've ordered.
When a product gets lost than its all on you.. even if you have a delivery with insurance they take a few weeks to investigate the claim than another few weeks to process your refund.
So in total your looking at around 3 months to get a refund if something gose wrong...
Managed to order the white version on aliexpress for 219 thanks to mrswitch a week or so ago. Looking forward to arrival....

Doesn't matter whether you choose insured or standard delivery. If something doesn't arrive and you file a dispute with Paypal the onus is on the seller to prove it's been delivered.

50/50 is exaggerating big time, I've used them a few times (70-200 lens just this week) and everything has arrived within timeframe. They also replaced an LG G4 for me that went faulty under warranty.
Would the note 7 camera be significantly better than this one?

Also battery is smaller than Note 7, but would it be much worse in every day use?
This deserves a lot more heat!

I have the Mi Mix 2S 128 GB with Dual SIM (both using data at all times), and battery life used to exceed 24 hours, even with Wifi constantly on, and BT on (connected for 3-4 hours a day). I didn't need much Screen on time though.

Great phone, but my fingerprint reader did die, which is a real pain! Tempted to upgrade to Mi Mix 3 personally, but at this price, I could be tempted to get another.

Also - I have bought 5+ phones from EGC, and never had an issue - I guess returning it to them is the issue someone above had.
Cheers RudeYute, good to know

Ok I might have made it abit long, but even with a dispute open it takes just over 2months for you to get a full refund, as eglobal ask for more time to investigate the issue. It takes longer if you have a faulty good.
