Am I right that this is Single Sim only?

The 5G model (this one) is only single SIM.
Can't believe how cheap this is for a 5G phone.
Can't believe how cheap this is for a Snapdragon 855 phone, must be the cheapest surely, and decent phone at that.Makes a mockery of iPhone prices.
If you need more storage the 128GB version qualifies for the MEMBER10 discount code, knocking it down to 269.99.

Was going to ask if this is the cheapest 5G phone?

Thank God I love my P20 Pro or I might be seriously tempted. Why am I even slightly tempted? 90+Mbps on 4G is quite fast enough for someone who uses iPlayer on lowest quality (mindset from when home BB was run by a 20GB SIM)! Maybe in 2 or 3 years when they start refarming 4G spectrum to 5G. Or when the RMN11 5G comes out at £150.

Yeah I think it probably is. I don't get the hype with regards to 5g. Never have I thought I wish this connection would be faster when out and about. Let's be honest the networks will milk 5g pricing too with silly small data limits.
The thing is I believe three are testing 5G in my home area!

Are there any 5G modems?
Damn I got this at 270 and was happy with the price - how low can this go xD?

Good point - perhaps avoid HUKD on Monday (11.11) and the black friday/week/fortnight. Alternatively just think how you got the phone you wanted at a good price & be happy. That said I did watch for deals that beat my P20 Pro one for at least 6 months!

Three have unlimited data, texts and minutes on sim only for £21 a month minimum 12 month contract mate. Apparently better 5G than other providers as well due to the frequency's they use. I don't know if that means wider coverage or faster though...
Holding off to Monday to get this phone. Ideally 128Gb and in black

Or £20 on 24 month, with 6 months half price & £72.50 Quidco. Just depends if they launch 5G in your area - EE is my only option at present.

They have launched it in main cities so useful for when at work. Home and travelling I'm not too bothered about. Good deal that if you can commit to the 24 months

Apologies only some are live now but the below are due to be rolled out before year end

London Bolton
Birmingham Bristol
Bradford Reading
Liverpool Rotherham
Glasgow Slough
Sheffield Edinburgh
Leeds Brighton
Manchester Coventry
Cardiff Derby
Hull Middlesbrough
Leicester Milton Keynes
Wolverhampton Sunderland
Nottingham
NP - wouldn't surprise me if they forgot to update their own page - maybe waiting for a mobile signal to log on!

They have history for ignoring NI - Belfast must be bigger than Rotherham surely. That said I believe they are testing it here (hence I am having regular service drops).

ah a dongle. as far as I can tell no, there are no 5G dongles yet. I've been looking for one too.

The only thing to consider a flagship for is the camera - probably worth £100-£200 IMHO.

I have seen some suggestions (all from around February) that Alcatel were working on a dongle/mifi (either the former or the latter if as reports seemed to think they forgot to mention WiFi in the spec). It was like the original ZTE lime green trim on black modems - a small box connected by a cable (USB-C in this case).

I'll try to remember to flag to you if I see one.
Bought this couple weeks ago. Battery had to be charged twice in a day.

Realised I couldn't return it as the UK doesn't allow you to send mobile phones to Hong Kong due to it having a battery!
Anyone any experience of getting EE to enable 5G on an existing contract (14 months in of 24)?

My P20 Pro screen is playing silly buggers - on turning it on, it flashes (white at top, bottom or both, sometimes with a flash of wallpaper), then it takes 2 to 20 presses in pairs of the power button to get the screen on (which is then perfect - typing this on it).

Claim against credit card - they can then take it up with EGC.

I paid via debit card unfortunately
Oh. Try a chargeback? Think carefully though, EGC could come after you for the money.

Are you sure about that? I know Royal Mail doesn’t allow phones but I found a courier that I used to return a phone to Gearbest a couple of years ago.
And isn’t there a UK returns address?

I used a courier called P4D, the only hassle was filling the customs form . Surprised that there’s no UK return address, someone I work with has returned a phone to them and I have seen several references to a UK address. Hope you can sort something out.

Would you mind giving some feedback on the phone? Are you in a 5G area on your provider?

Now seriously considering this (and the 128GB version) - my P20 Pro may be dead & I forsee a long game of returns tennis.

Are you in a 5G area, perhaps on the edge of coverage? Could your provider have been testing 5G? Have you tried setting it to 3G or 4G only to see how the battery holds? I am spoilt with the 1.5 day battery life of the P20 Pro.

Hey - not in a 5g area. The phone is good - well made and amazing value. I would recommend using nova launcher with it though - mui is weird.

It's also quite a heavy phone but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Been doing some reseach & the weight struck me. Also only 1 5G band mentioned (78, 3500MHz) - I've no idea about 5G bands yet.
