My guess is that the modems and 5G internals (antennae etc) are too large to use for most phones so even the biggest phones only use one.

From what I remember at the OnePlus 7 launch event, they said the (internals of the) 5G version had to be carefully redesigned to maintain the same form factor (for accessories etc) and it was quite difficult to do.

Anyone bought this phones and got 5g working from deals we had before from China ? And on what network I know its probably a small number or of people due to the deployment of 5g but dont know if 5g has issues with bands like 4g did? It would be good if people provided feedback after they bought the phone.
Scorcher. Need dual-SIM though or I'd be pouncing on it like no other.
Very tempting but unfortunately no 5G in my area yet. Great deal though
Bought!how does this compare to the mi 9?
For those wondering, this phone has Single sim. It also states that 5G function will be available via OTA update!39538207-TYnTX.jpg

Very well, bigger battery, similar camera and 5G, you lose out on the wide angle sensor though

I've now got a Mi9 having made a insurance claim on the Mi Mix 3.

I would say the positives of the Mi9 outweight the Mi Mix 3 for me personally, noticing how much the Mix 3 weight now I have a Mi 9 is quite the difference. I never much used the slider as the finger and face unlocked worked so well.

The biggest negative fo the Mi9 is the notch, it's not terrible but I would much rather without. The wireless charging with the 20w charger has changed how I charge a phone, I no longer charge overnight, I simply pop it on the wireless charger when I pass, 30 min later I'm set for the day.

5G isn't something I care about so not a consideration for me.
"Wow, this is the cheapest 5g pho e you can get" this about sums it up!

How does the camera compare to the Mi9? Got the Mi9 for work but starting to look for a replacement for my personal handset. Love the camera on the Mi9 especially with the gcam mod.

The Mi Mix 3 never really blew me away camera wise, the 9 is better no doubt, I also use gcam 7.2.010. The 9 definitely locks a better picture in quickly, but at present seems too dark by defaults, but that's all changeable .

I know people are doing the Huawei P30 pro deals because it's a great phone. This is good, 5G, Snapdragon and no messing with all the cancellation of airtime. Result I say
