5. If you want to move your existing SIM and number and contract to the new phone, use the little pin, take out the SIM. And put it in new phone. Nothing to do with PAC.
6. Find (or order) an unused SIM from another network (e.g. three because that's easy).

7. Put the o2 SIM that you got with the phone, in the phone, and text STAC to 75075. Wait for the code and write it down.

8. Go on three's website and fill in the form to use the STAC (or if a SIM from any other network then maybe have to ring them to use STAC).

9. Wait 1-2 days for the STAC to process and check that the o2 SIM card no longer gets a signal. If it still does, the STAC process went wrong, curse a lot, and phone O2 to cancel. The first person you speak to will be wrong. Phone again until you get someone who understands their own terms and conditions. Or, try the STAC process again.

10. The first month's bill from O2 will come out of your account. Don't panic. DONT WHATEVER YOU DO CANCEL YOUR DIRECT DEBIT.

11. After a month, go on web chat with O2 and say you want a refund of the credit on your bill.

Oh dear!

Will I delete this til you sell yours?
I wouldn't be too put off by the software updates as i hardly notice any difference between miui 10, 11 and 12. Most if not all of the security updates are done by the google framework anyway miui is mostly just a skin

Quick question, once ordered when can I cancel with 02

I ordered a phone from them with delivery booked for a month away to give me time to decide
I decided I didn't want it and tried to cancel. Got through on the phone to be told I couldn't cancel and had to refuse the delivery
I was out and a member of my household accepted it so now I've got to return it. Nightmare

True but if the complaint of old software is alive then miui 11 will be outdated, no point making 11 when 12 is ready
🔥 nice spot as usual

When you only have miui 10, being less outdated is a plus.

Speaking from the mix3 original perspective i had dark mode in miui10 and battery is no better with 11.

But yes, there will be optimisations, its just most will be negligible or unnoticeable. All im trying to get at is it shouldn't be a deal breaker for what is a great device.

Is it not also security patches - that would be more important? My Note 8 Pro is on MIUI 11, but it's Android 9 with the Google security patch dated to November!

Keep off the porn sites you will be fine
Main Con: it's not waterproof - no IP rating
AHH please stop tempting me I'm trying to wait for the Poco f2 pro

Very topical, also very true lol

Altho im sure a quick spray and wipe wont hurt it.

Not the phone for you if you want to soak in bleach or zoflora though

I'd do it as soon as you receive the phone.
I ordered it, but I have no idea why, I use a mi 8 and im perfectly happy with it!!
What's the difference In camera's? Thanks in advance.

Great phone and heat added. Bought my first MI from India and it was great but then the Indian Govt realised there is a glitch and information is stored externally (similar to spying!) and banned the phones.
Upon back and forth diplomatic discussions, MI reopened and continue trading... end of the story

"A quick spray and wipe won't hurt"

Are you still talking about cleaning the phone, sounds more like a reply to the comment about watching porn

Genuinely tho My wife works for the NHS and has a Xiaomi note 7 that isn't waterproof and she often gives it a wash with zaflora and it still works fine

... Clearly ..you in the minority. Who knows some people may like to take a whizz on the phone. .. you need IP rated or else it'll only be a one time Whizzer!

Infact IP may be too old. May need a new WHIZZ rating!
How good is the 5g on this ? Thinking of it maybe.....

Wasn't expecting that answer. Some people have said they can't get much faster than 4g.
