Is that an old chip? Would've liked 855!

Is a new chip, very few phones using it yet. Performs well, slightly less than SD845 but more power efficient
Second only to Mate 30 Pro on DXO review and highest ever video performance. Think I've just found my next phone when UK spec is released

Cold - I'm holding out for a 109MP camera on a phone. 😁😋

What shall I do I'm about to hit buy button :/
I was wondering if/when you'd post this.

I was pretty set on the 9T until I read about this the other week, and I just don't think I'll be able to not buy it with that camera setup!

Any chance you'll be posting the 8GB RAM version at some point?

Is that a rhetorical question?

SD855 will be in Note 10 Pro.

I just read on gsmarena that a Pro version is rumoured to have an 855, so maybe wait and see if they announce that in tug coming weeks?

Dope. Thank you!
How are you getting this price Switchy? Best I can get is £402.
The cc9 pro premium with more ram and better camera lens might be worth waiting for too. Might come with sd855 as the mi note 10 pro global variant.
I was researching online, and they were saying the UK price is around £450 at launch. I would rather get it from UK, if that's the case.

Thanks!

Probably won't buy just now but I'll be keeping a sharp eye on your deals! (I want a green one btw )

As far as I can tell, there's nothing missing from this compared to the 9T is there, apart from notchless design? It's an improvement in every other way?

Just got to see what the sensor is like in the flesh versus 9T really. 108MP is intriguing if it's good quality with pixel binning.

Yep, they're the big ones for me! I've not been this excited about a phone for ages

Just missing SD card slot and waterproofing, but I've never had a waterproof phone yet and I guess I'll have to learn to live without the slot.

Cheers fella! I actually had it, it was that shipping guarantee that added the extra tenner.
Interesting phone, Switchy first to get this out there.

I love the idea of a dedicated macro lens too - I hope it's good (read another phone with a macro lens wasn't great).

I rarely need macro, but when I do, I'm always massively let down by my current phone (Honor 9) - my Galaxy S4 was better at extreme close-ups and tests ancient.

Most card slots are badly implemented. If you make them hybrid, the phone is crippled in speed. If you use as storage, a lot of apps can't be installed there and also can be slow.

I've learned the hard way best for me was getting unlimited GDrive storage for £6 pcm and uploading images in full and not compressed; costs a bit more, but >2TB storage used and counting ...

I don't think I've actually got apps installed. It's more for easier moving between phones (only when I upgrade though, every couple of years or so) and if I need to transfer photos from a DSLR to my phone for uploading on holidays. Both pretty rare things so it's not the end of the world!

I have 100GB on Google One for £1.59 a month. Looking at their prices I can't see anything like what you have - 2TB is £7.99 and 30TB is £239.99! No unlimited. If I could get unlimited for £6 I would, but I guess it's no longer an option?
