Xiaomi Mi Note 3 5.5 Inch Global ROM 6GB RAM 128GB ROM Snapdragon 660 Octa Core 4G Smartphone.

Important note: Unfortunately this one doesn't seem to support band 20 looking at the page, however, I know this isn't crucial to everyone and the specs are still pretty good for the price.

May be so, but never seen a 6+128Gb phone from a good manufacturer this low before. Some people with large(r) storage needs might put this first.

Are you instructing us to benefit from Band 20 or are you asking what the benefits are of Band 20? Assuming that you're asking about the latter, Band 20 is an almost universal standard for 4G roaming across Europe. It doesn't mean you won't get 4G at all in Europe but the other standards are fragmented so you may or may not get coverage depending on which European country you're in.

You assumed correctly thanks... Is there another band or frequency in connection with better 4g reception that is offered by some networks that some phones don't have? Or is it band 20 that you've mentioned.... Hope that makes sense?

You can use three, ee and other ones that use their line for 4g, I have a phone with no band 20 and use virgin which is on EE.

It definitely makes sense. There are networks that run on Bands 1, 3, 7 and 8 in the UK. It's just that those networks aren't used as widely across Europe, especially in Eastern Europe. If you use the phone only in the UK and Western Europe, not having Band 20 shouldn't be a major obstacle.

Too confusing the Xaiomi line up....you are referring to Redmi Note 7 I take it which can be had similar price....but this isnt the redmi note 3 which I've had a couple of years....is the mi note a different line?
This looks similar specs ?

One of the reasons for asking was I have a Huawei 8x and my friend has a Huawei p10 lite they were on EE and I'm on virgn we were stood next to each other they got 4g signal and I had edge and wouldn't load the same web page? So I thought it might have something to do with bandwidths on the devices?

It's possible but I can only speculate. I'm not too familiar with either phone so I don't know if their antennas accept different bands or if the reception is just better in one phone than the other.

Funnily enough, I'd initially also dropped the ball (like that of one or two others) and read the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and somehow STILL assumed Xiaomi Note 3 instead?, hehehehe), so yeh, it's veryyyyy easily done?. :-D

The Redmi Note series is mid range whereas the Mi Note series is upper-flagship range. The Mi Note 3 was released Sept 2017 but is the most recent of the Mi Note series. This 6/128GB variant would have been over £300 at launch. Similar specs to Redmi Note 7. Mi Note 3 has NFC though, but lacks 3.5mm jack and microSD.
Its a good phone, I have it. Bought on offer for 190 a few months after launch. Xiaomi killed this model soon after launch as it under cut the mi 6/7 series if you were willing to sacrifice on the chipset. If you care about nfc with a snapdragon phone, your options are limited at this price range.
