This looks to be a lovely bit of kit. Specs seem decent, but what you are really paying for here is the quality of finish, and the aesthetic, which for a Windows machine, is VERY apple-esque. The Laptop comes with Windows 10 Chinese Version pre-installed, however this can be changed to English without too much fuss, and is well documented across the internet.

Won't you need to add £147.56 import duties making it £885.34

You'd have to be a lunatic to give this much money to GearBest. Non existent customer service that couldn't care less.

If you have that much money to waste on a purchase from China , one hopes you would have the common sense not to buy it .Import Duties, VAT, no EU warranty and about £80 to return . Why do HUKD allow these deals to be posted ?

I could risk import duties and slow delivery, but Gearbest's nonexistent customer service can't be overlooked. At this price, it's safer to play the lottery.

Oh my good god! Really? Has the world gone mad where someone would even contemplate spending this much for a product direct from China with warranty and after care that questionable at best, none existent at worst?! And I thought the posts with the Xiaomi laptops for £400+ were ludicrous!

Those USB-C ports aren't thunderbolt 3 capable iirc, otherwise it's a nice spec so a bit of a shame about that.

I read on one of the questions and answers that gearbest didn't under value on the customs docket.

Why wouldn't it arrive?

It's a Chinese version.

Still I have no problem with Gearbest

Easy enough to convert to English windows

Gearbest are fine until something goes wrong. When that eventually happens, you’re entering all sorts of hell.

Most expensive product I’ve ever bought from gearbest was £200. Seems risky but might be worth it. I talked to customer services few times and they were fine though they don’t speak English very well. As long as you use basic English they’re fine.

Wow, gets excellent reviews, looking at the i7 16GB model myself.
