Great product and works well, but I'd pay the extra 2 or 3 quid and get the English version. Unless of course, you understand Chinese.

I can't get it for £4.87 either?
Just got mine delivered from Zapalstyle today - (was around £4- at the time)

Heres some useful installation info I got from Amazon-dot-com >>

First thing you do is download the Mi app and setup an account. Now at this point the app will ask you to select a region, YOU MUST SELECT "OTHER" if youre in the U.S. (OR UK) or it will not work. This is something the instruction do not specify.
I made the mistake of selecting US and the app wouldn't recognize the device and trying to add it manually gives you a blank page where there should be different devices to choose from. I went back and selected "OTHER" as region, it shows about 25 devices to choose from when selecting manually. Now if you select "OTHER" from the beginning (I hate to be so repetitive but it's very important) it will find the Mi device by itself. All you need to do is follow the steps to connect the device to your WiFi. Then plug it in between an area where you have WiFi and no wifi signal. I installed an outside wifi camera in the front corner of my home and it kept getting disconnected, so i plugged mine in the garage close to that corner.

-----
I found the main difference on mine, was that it created a network ID with the same name as my normal one, but with the word "_plus" added at the end" which I hadn't noticed at first

This is only 2.4ghz WiFi compatible but you could try disabling the 5Ghz setting in the sky router and then try and connect it. If that works then you can re-enable 5Ghz.

Already using different SSIDs for 2.4 and 5Ghz. Security is WPA2-PSK only, not mixed. Google hasn't got much else of help.

I’ve had no problems with NowTV broadband. It’s much slower than the 200mbps connection I had with Virgin but it’s reliable & I get the maximum speed I paid for

It's fine mate , not the highest speeds (17mb) but I honestly don't notice the difference that much compared to (up to 200mb) with virgin !! Seriously , been fine for streaming , you tube for kids , tinternet . Maybe online gamers streaming mega mega 4k ultra HD and all that crap might notice a slight difference ! Yes cheap as chips and I got £60 cashback through topcashback the other month .

Thanks.sick of virgin ripping me off.Def going with Nowtv.
Mine turned up today, having ordered it on 13th May.

It's excellent, just works straight away once plugged into a USB. All I had to do was add it in Mi Home (I already own a bunch of Mi stuff so used to Mi Home), entered my wi-fi password and that was it.

It created a duplicate network with _plus at the end and signal in my bedroom is full 4 bars instead of wavering 1-2 bars.

Don't know what people are on about with "Chinese version" etc as there's none, the Mi Home app is in English.

Even cheaper now at £4.69, perhaps because the £ has gone up slightly since the deal was posted ;-)
Bought one for holidays, heat added - cheers.
