This was a great deal a few weeks ago at £121 but now even cheaper!

Was a bit surprised at that as I thought the pound was down against the dollar so I would have thought prices would rise?

This is the 'International Version' with Google Play Store installed.

This was a flagship when it was released and I think you'll struggle to find a better device at this price

"I thought the pound was down against the dollar so I would have thought prices would rise?"

Few months ago this would have been cheaper just because it looks cheap now does not mean it was not cheaper before.

Such a good spec, yet it's not 4G

I see what you are saying but you're wrong.
This is cheaper than it was a few months ago, but as the pound is down against the dollar it would have been cheaper now if the pound was performing better. Which it is not.

Cold only 3G

Cold only 3G

I agree

Most of the UK population won't have 4G throughput rates that are much better than 3G so no reason to vote cold.

Agreed. I've found EE 3G to be as fast as Vodafone 4G in most areas

so it would have been under 100 if we didn't vote brexit as the pound is down 17% in fact a remain vote would have strengthened the pound most likely so it would have been even cheaper to import

Is the gearbest website reliable, it say customer has to pay local custom and duty?. If some body has placed order with them what was your experience dealing with them, most of goods it give you China warehouse as item location.

I was looking at
Xiaomi Mi Max 32GB ROM 4G Phablet
m.gearbest.com/mob…tml

There's always the risk of that happening, but if you choose the free delivery option this is minimised.

You may want the prices to be better/drop again before buying though...

Xiaomi Mi Max 6.44", 3GB/32GB, 1920x1080, 4850mAh 16MP, Fingerprint ID, £155 Ali Express / Hong Kong Dreami

If you visit the above deal you'll see on the last page that the better 64Gb+652 version was lower than the inferior 32Gb+650 version in your link.

You need to make sure that you register the device. Check if the serial number is on their database. Fake xiaomi being sold.
