Isnt the rrp

true - but everyone wants to have some profit - this price is for people who wants it NOW

Xiaomi it is not Apple - when they release iPhone - NO MATTER WHAT - they do not change/lower price for 1 year!

I bet every month price for that mobile will be lower and lower (especially after new iPhone 5SE to be released)

I ordered my Xiaomi Redmi note 2 form them, it came in a about 10 days... they were very good, including tracked package. This is only based on 1 order, but I would use them again.

If you change the website currency to GBP at the top of page it shows the price as £239
just watched the youtube video of the launch the pro 128gb 4gb ram model blows all other android phones away on antutu scoring 142000 wow thats 50000 higher than current top score the 64gb should be the same as it also has the 2.15Ghz processor and 4gb ram the 32gb has 3gb ram and it still has the 820 cpu but at 1.8ghz so would be a bit lower on antutu here's link to youtube video if anybody interested youtube.com/wat…wfI
Before anyone buys this they should double check which bands their network use. The phone doesn't support band 12/20 AFAIK so 4G support will be limited, especially on O2 or 3.

So not compatible at all with 4G on O2, and only partially on 3, EE, and vodafone. I really want this phone (the 128GB ceramic one) but it just isn't worth it, I'm fairly sure without band 12 support you are unlikely to get 4G service in built up areas and in rural areas. Not worth getting a phone of this calibre in 2016 only to use it on a 2010 network.
I reckon that there will be a software mod that will unlock all the bands. I think the SD 820 supports all of them - hopefully, a mod will unlock them all

That's what I'm hoping for. There should be good mod support too, being Snapdragon.
Another seller website "flosmall" has the mi5 for $370

I really don't know where to buy from, or whether to just wait for the possibility of a EU release / amazon uk listing.
Indian Release is in April...worth checking if that has extra bands by default. Otherwise rely on XDA forum.
I think the mi5 is so over subscribed in China, it will be a while before any of them gets exported... Maybe a good thing. Let all the hardware/software kinks get worked out, let the price drop, wait for a reliable European seller to emerge...

I thought it supported band 20 which is 800hz which would be ok for 02?
it really does look like a great phone indeed I would be interested to know the safest way to order this too.

No announcement yet but the retailers are showing (4G: FDD-LTE 1800/2100/2600MHz) so no band 20.

so do you think there may be an international version that incoprates uk 4g frequencies?

From a review about them on trustpilot...

"I ordered an Huawei Honor 7 and waited for a couple of weeks to receive.. an empty box! The box was perfectly sealed and intact, and actually did hold an ordered piece of screen protection, but the mobile itself had not been shipped. I contacted Oppomart who actually asked me "are you sure it is not the box?" - the nerve! Weeks of dialogue forth and back, during which they tried to put the onus on me, saying that they had no responsibilty, and that I myself should raise a claim against their shipper, and then against PayPal (who, by the way are also completely unwilling to cover me, stating that they are not happy enough with the Police reports I have provided).
So, shop elsewhere is my best advise to you, or cross your fingers to receive whatever you order at Oppomart.com. I am impressed their shop is still alive after so many complains"

I think i'd rather spend a bit more to cover myself, I have been burned by paypal before on stuff, they aren't as good as everyone makes out.

Before you add to basket and go to check out it won't let you proceed unless u select field stating the version you want which does show costs.

£239 for standard (+ £0 for 32GB version so it's still £239)

+ £65 for 64GB version

+ 129 for 128GB version

(approx) and obviously plus your chosen shipping method costs

agree that there is MANY negative feedback for this site but also some successful ones. After reading the empty box story and battle with PayPal (so much for PayPal safe online shop guarantee) I would not even bother but for those who are Willing to take the risk and good luck honestly - please inform

ok now to the deal - Gearbest are reliable enough for sure so far I've seen they have the cheapest offer on every version. it's even close to what Xiaomi launch video in Barcelona was it somewhere near £300 anyway. People who voted cold are u voting cold for the deal or the reviewing of the phone spec design? this is not for Comparison of best phone or other but only the deal so right now it's -108 cold vote so all these people who voted cold, please can u respond and reply with your reason and also along with the better deal? (obviously excluding oppomart) Thank you cos I want that phone and so far Gearbest is most likely where I'm buying from unless all u cold voters help proving link to better and legit site lower than Gearbest!
