Got one thanks.
Think I'll hold off til it's on a deal. £10-£11.
I've got the Aquara sensor and find it tracks a couple of degrees too high.
I'll probably get one in the future but not at this price

Does anyone know of an Android / windows widget that can nicely display the result of one of these devices?
Does this interface with the Xiaomi smart home gateway?
Ugly for a xiaomi device.

Is this acting as a zigbee gatewey as well?
This requires a bluetooth hub for wifi connection, more details here
The cheap versions of these are so inaccurate they're useless. Are these any better?

Sounds like hassle.
I'm sweatin' me bo****ks off & it's clammy in here - don't need no instrument to tell you that
could you link one of these to an extractor fan ?
Okay so these need a bluetooth hub... has anyone hacked together one of those with say a raspberry pi? Or is the accuracy far better than the cheap units making it worthwhile even if not connected to anything?

If you set the extractor fan up with a smart plug then I can't see why you wouldn't be able to do it with IFTTT. If xiaomi sensor hits humidity 60% then put on extractor plug until humidity is less than 50%. Something along those lines?

That is the kind of thing yes

You'd need to check to see what smart plugs work with IFTTT. I imagine the wemo ones do. Hell even the cheap ones might but I'm not sure. Google should be able to help in that respect. But I know xiaomi gear works with IFTTT
