New shiny!

But...magnetic base?
I don't need a smart body sensor, I know a smart body when I see one 👀😋

The night light attaches to the base via magnets? I'm guessing so you can also remove it?
Means you can rotate it to point down stairs, back of a cupboard etc. I was going to buy this when I looked at the other deal posted but preferred the other one to fit flush to the skirting board.

I guess you could leave it in your childs room while they go to sleep, then pop it back in the hallway. Or pick one up when you go for a midnight snack. Interesting for the price!

Even more interesting if you could get a spare base plate for this.

$3 new user coupon. Just add it. Ali Express charge 80p so mine worked out at £5.71. Love these lights . Take them when travelling. Stops you peeing in the wardrobe by mistake lmao.
Would have been even nicer if it had extra switchable timer delay like 30/60/90/120 seconds too. 15 seconds doesn't cut it for me. How about changeable adaptors so you could between battery or mains operated? Now that would be a game changer.

And probably 4x price but I agree that would be worth it.

If Lidl can do it then Xiaomi can with their budget. The Lidl light only cost £3.99 at time of promotion plus they also had battery versions too. Both can change colours. Just need to add light sensor & magnet/plate. Cost pennies. If I'm paying £7.40, I expect more from Xiaomi.

Wait till they release V3 with one added feature, adjustable ceiling straps so you can hang from ceiling.

These are £10.50? And look to be unbranded? I would be pretty wary how long they would last myself. I trust the Xiaomi brand new I've had multiple devices from them and they work very well, that alone is worth the extra £2-3 I'd pay on this for it's functions.

Hey, we likes what we likes, I'm not forcing you to buy it, if you're happy buying a lidl branded one, than that's your perogative.

The link was for ref for the features, I'm not asking you to buy at the price, who would?

Livarno is part of Lidl brands. Have you never step foot in brick & mortar Lidl before? Lidl carry 3 year warranty (1st year in-store, 2nd/3rd with manufacturer) on electrical products.

Go to Lidl when night lights are on weekly promotion. Not doubt they will for past few years. I know as I've bought them previously, they're still working.

Yes, it's all about choices & it could be better if Xiaomi wants to. I won't be buying this.
