I would vote hot - if I have hairs

I'm sorry for your (hair) loss.
You cannot seriously make any useful comparison between this and a Dyson. The Dyson uses completely different technology. Most of the cost of this dryer will be in trying to make a conventional hair dryer look like a Dyson.

Last Xiaomi item I bought, exploded after one month. It was a Smart Kettle.

Doesn't sound very smart

Avoid running something that takes a reasonable amount of power like this through an adapter.

If you know what you are doing, cut the plug off and wire up a UK 13A plug on the end of the cable, will be safer in the long run.

No worries, I've save a lot of energy bills
It is cheaper on Aliexpress with a UK plug adaptor included:

How does this compare to a dyson?

How does this compare to a dyson?

Well it's 10% of the price of the Dyson, so...

There are pretty much zero reliable reviews out there from what I can see.
I was going to say how do they compare does anyone know?
fake dyson?
Any xiaomi product I’ve bought has been great, wonder about this...

eglobal have it for …eglobal have it for £29.99.https://www.eglobalcentraluk.com/xiaomi-soocas-h3s-secador-de-pelo-plata.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiA-4nuBRCnARIsAHwyuPoRna9PPZoxuUDEvZHQAG3Xx6rZeHagPH7Y7bT0MarCvo1tMB_M4sEaAnRvEALw_wcB#/product/31199

H3S on eglobal, different model?
Joybuy always declare price in full!
Dyson wannabe?
I would say that if you were going to pay for a dyson, have a punt on this first. Heat added.
Xiaomi products are good. Its not a fire hazard any more than other hair dryers..
Tempted

It's just as bad at vacuuming as the Dyson

We've all got hairs mate. Maybe not necessarily on your bonce.
What a piece of derivative junk, you'll get similar performance with any standard hairdryer with the added bonus it won't burn your house down.
Amazing what people on here will vote hot.
Got the wife one for her 30th. Yes I know how to treat her! She says it’s great, gives got volume and says it doesn’t dry her hair out. Maybe that’s the double negative ions? It’s not the same technology as the dyson, but it’s a fraction of the price. Feels well made and good quality. Has good power settings. Lightweight. Comes with nice bag. Says it’s better then her twice the price Remington.
Definitely worth the price!

She has used it every day since September, no issues. It’s not junk, far from it, if you knew anything about Xiaomi then your would not comment
Chinese designed electricals? I wouldn't plug that in.

I've got some of their headphones. They're cheap rubbish, just like this.

Times have changed pal, near enough everything is from China. If not designed their, it’s manufactured their (Apple)

Airdots? I also have them, and for less then £20? Nothing wrong with them

I think your missing the point!

Xiaomi is not some cheap Chinese company, who make cheap electronics. They are massive in China, not just to export.

Maybe research, then come back to me

If they can fake western products, how difficult do you imagine it is with their own 'brands'?

No need to take it personally.
Nearly wet my pants, thought this was the dyson drier.... I’ve been tempted before with one similar on Vipon.
