Bought 3 of these but couldnt get them to work with any app. My Xiaomi Yeelights were a doddle by comparison. They also work with Alwxa. Have put these aside for the time being but will try again in due course.

No hub, will work with Mi Home app not Yeelight app but if you have Yeelight bulbs already they should work with the Mi Home app too.

These are a legit collab with Philips.
be careful these won't work with google home as they use a different protocol

Do they work with any other smart speaker? Or would you need to open your phone and use the app to control your lighting?

Yep with no luck. Found the Yeelights instantly. Mixed one with a yeelight in main lounge which has 2 light sockets. Only found te yeelight. Tried the resetting process too but no luck. Its ok as I can use as basic lights. They are good for about 10 years I read.

6.5W are incredibly dim. Definitely not a room light.

Ok for a porch and not bad if youve got 2 light sockets in a room.

Are they confirmed to be compatible with mi home? I need them as side lights so not massively bothered about how bright they go.

Yep it’s available on my app - I’ve got it set to China server to work with my other Xiaomi items.

You can use with a mi home app. You will however need a gateway and body sensor or door sensor for them to switch on automatically. Can't be used with Google home
Sp to sum up incredibly dim tee hee yeelights! Have I missed anything before I order a pallet full?
