Surely xiaomi are 'borrowing' the Phillips name without permission. I've got xiaomi yeelights and love them but this is well dodgy. I don't think these will work in the hue eco system despite the Philips name

It's an official collaboration with Philips. There's a range of Philips/Xiaomi lighting products.

Seems legit newsroom.lighting.philips.com/new…ina
So if iv already got yeelights, would this conflict with the Xiaomi Home app?

Perfectly legit collaboration and they're not branded as Hue bulbs so why would anyone expect them to work with a Hue hub.
I stand corrected. Apologies OP.
I’ve only got the option of £1.66 delivery (not free)
Do these work with Google Home?

Hey bud, I need to pick your brains if I can please. I've got the gateway, couple of door sensors and the motion sensor. Plus yeelights. Would like some advice on set up so the light comes in when door opens, but if no motion detected for say 2 minutes, light switches off.
Xioami really needs to release the yeelights in other connections (b
Bayonet, small screw 14 I think it's called)

It’s easy, just create scene.

I have mine set so if movement is detected in kitchen, it turns on kitchen light, to a certain colour - for 15 mins. If movement is detected within that time it will reset for another 15 mins.

Bit of it is in Chinese but it’s pretty simple to work out.

Which App are you using to set up all these devices and does the lights work with Alexa. I've tried the China mainland server but for some reason Echo does seem to discover the light. Help please.

I struggled with the Chinese bits. Set up was fine but got frustrated and it's all in a box, hoping the app goes full English.

Alexa won’t work with Chinese server, it will work with the Singapore server HOWEVER not many child objects/items are available on the Singapore server.

If you want to make full use of the devices available then set to Chinese and do without Alexa - for the time being.

I might give it another crack over the weekend. really want to use it but as I said, my first attempt was frustrating with the chinests language in places where I really needed a English option.

I got the door sensor to switch on the yeelights which was a plus, but could not work out how to switch them off if no movement was detected on the motion sensor. im hoping that kind of 'scene' is possible and im just a numpty for not being able to work it out. yet
I really want a good deal on Yeelight there should be one coming soon surely, right?
I just mentioned this deal to my wife and my echo dot made a creepy laughing sound. Which is one of the only sounds it has made since receiving from my daughter at Christmas.
I ordered these bulbs on a previous deal - they arrived today coincidentally.

Have added them without any issues.

My setup at the moment;

33403299-tlh9b.jpg
I've got a couple of these bulbs and use them through the Mi Home app. It's OK but setting up scheduled timers is a pain due to the lack of translation. I ended holding another phone with Google Translate over my phone to try and work out what on earth I was doing. Definitely no Alexa support.

Same here. The Chinese bits really are confusing and I'm struggling to set up a particular scene
for those having issues with the chinese text on the mi home app, I take a screenshot then translate the text using the google translate app on the same phone, no need for a secondary phone

I'm guessing that'll be good enough to do the job?

So if I want to do the following : switch on yeelights between certain times of the day when door sensors activate, but then yeelights to auto switch off if motion sensor detects no motion for x amount of minutes?

Please

Great price but looks like I got here too late and deal has expired. I got these last year when they were posted here for something like £7/8 quid. I can control them using Google home by using Home Assistant on Raspberry Pi.
