Got another 'Smart' bulb for you lovely lot. I don't think this can be used with Alexa, correct me if i'm wrong, but may be able to work in integration using IFTTT? Otherwise, you'll be using the app provided by Xiaomi.

Use code 'MiPhilipsUK' at checkout to receive discounted price.

Hello Ryan,

The item can't be used with Alexa.

How is this compared to the yeelight?

They are currently doing an Alexa compatible multicolour lamp for £8.06 (for the next 2 days)

Bulbs are better than the Yeelight ones, but heard mixed opinions about Alexa support.

I’m sure you couldn’t integrate into Homeassistant and get Alexa support that way with a little grafting. But don’t hold me to this.

If you actually meant "could" then there is now an HA component for these.

Cheers OP - worth a punt! My house is rapidly filling with junk quality Xiaomi products

The Yeelight bulbs are just dimmable warm LED bulbs.
The Philips ones have colour temperature control too, so you can go from bright daylight glow to warm, plus dimming too.

I got a couple of these bulbs bit not sure to download the Xiaomi apk..is it safe? Anyone had an issue with it? Thanks

has anyone successfully connect this bulb with google home or amazon alexa please. or anyone know any way to connect them at all. I can't find any information relate online or any where. thanks in advance.

I find the MiHome app a bit ropey, not fully in English and also struggling to get the timer function working. Can control the bulb from the app, dim it etc which is still pretty good though. Just the software side needs a little work. If anyone has any tips etc pleaselet me know

Bought these Xiaomi Philips white light smart bulbs. Couldn't find them with MiHome app even with Singapore server. They have no 6 digit serial number so you cant enter them manually with the Hue system. Info says they are compatible with Hue but I have had no luck. So just being used as energy saver bulbs at min. A waste of time for me. Will stick with Yeelight RGBW bulbs when on offer. Worked perfectly with Yeelight App and found instantly.

Did anyone have a go at IFTTT integration. I'm new to it so wondered if anyone could get it working?

One arrived yesterday - great piece of kit. Best used with the Xiaomi app. Works well. I’m going to order another one.

Stupid question but how do these bulbs work? Do you just put them in the socket and use an app to control? Thanks

Can't find one with a bayonet fitting. Anyone found one?

Had one of these and it lasted less than 10 months of only occasional use. Wasn't going to replace it, but at this price I'd give it another chance.

You need to use the time zone for mainland China

Anyone know if this can be integrated with Google Home? I've managed to get the yeelight ones to work that way but haven't tried these

Currently coming up at £5.09 with code. Ordered. Thanks!
