Other pro threads say how to reflash for more speed etc (I haven’t done it encase of warranty issues) also don’t forget slime for the tyres (around £5 at amazon)

The Xiaomi M365 Pro is a far superior and improved version of the original Xiaomi M365. Xiaomi have taken a winning formula and built on it.
In our experience, the Pro is one of the most reliable scooters on the market. It boasts:

An increased range per charge
Improved brakes
Wider deck for more comfortable riding
Much improved display unit so you can see your speed and other vital stats
Houses a more powerful motor, meaning that it tackles hills easier

Whether you’re looking for your first electric scooter or upgrading from your current ride, the M365 Pro is hard to beat and we believe the Pro will quickly take the ‘World’s Bestseller’ crown from the standard Xiaomi M365.

Worry Free Warranty!
All our Xiaomi M365 electric scooters are UK stock and come with a 2-year UK warranty. (unlike many imports that have to be returned to Europe or China for warranty issues)

Also forgot to say you can get steering column wrap for free which I got to protect it and doesn’t look bad at all.

Also ordered mine on a Saturday received Tuesday.

THEY ARE NOT LEGAL ON UK ROADS

(Thought I should get In there first) But then again from what I can work out the law hasn’t been changed to stop commercial scooters being dumped everywhere and become a hazard scattered everywhere. Creating the right law once is a novel idea.

No legal requirement to wear a helmet, body protection, hold a license or insurance when riding one of these in the correct places either.
Enjoy them, they are great.

You aren't wrong there, i remember 20 years ago, hanging out with mates having fun, playing tracker, football etc and we would see police walking around weekly and they would come chat with us, have a little kick around or put us in handcuffs etc ( we asked them to )
Basically just gain our trust and made us respect them, we knew them by name.
none of that these days
i got one of these. it's alright. been watching videos of the Yume YM D5 though. twice the price, but if i had the money I would love to ride around on that instead. zooms.

Good price
got the child one for Christmas - had a go myself over the weekend whilst we were out
great fun
What a laugh these are, trying to convince my mate to get one so we can both look stupid on them together
Bought the Berry board for my M365 Pro. Makes the ride so much more comfortable. Can put two feet straight together with ease. Suppresses the bumps too. Would recommend it.

Genuine question. Has anyone actually had experience first hand of someone being nicked given points having it confiscated etc etc etc

Looks great. Quick question please if you don't mind? Does the Berry Board add a fair bit of weight? Thanks!

The Berry board adds approx 1Kg of weight to the scooter. Not much of a difference. Can still reach maximum speeds no problem.

Was that after you had an accident on your scooter?
DontRun24/01/2020 13:48

Yep. A car driver smashed into the back of me a while back. Also been swiped while riding my road bike. Anything other than a car etc or bigger, you're pretty much a gonna on the roads. I think motorcyclists have it worse as they can have accidents on the motorway etc at higher speeds.
How waterproof are these? Seriously thinking of getting one but concerned about the great English weather!
I bought the standard m365 for 245 at Halfords with double discount, bought genuine pro PCB did the firmware updates cost £278.50 total. Battery last me about 12m sport 16 eco. I can't fault it for the money. Is the pro worth the upgrade and extra money?

Nope. Still illegal. Getting stopped, injuring yourself and or others could adversely affect your career and your finances.

Catch up.... Road tax was abolished in 1937. We now have VED which is an emissions based tax. Last time i checked electric motors dont produce any emissions

All vehicles with motors will be charged VED soon, whether ICE, electric or whatever. The Govt will loose too much money otherwise. It's likely to be a cost per km/mile.

I had standard and switched to the pro, the longer range etc is great and it’s abit nippier and more fun (and faster still if flashed). I wanted to go flat out for my use case journeys and if didnt have the battery life to do that on the m365.

Also Speedo on the handlebars is much nicer for me (but a phone holder addresses that) but it’s nice to always be there and if anything happened though it’s not much I would prefer to be able to say the speed I was going.

I did the Speedo mod so I have that, and speed unlimited firmware let's me do 19mph flat out on m365.
I think range and top speed would be better on the pro tho. Not sure it's worth the extra money tho if you only do short trips like me. Battery lasts a few days for me

I upgraded as I could take it back to Halford, I asked if they would match but we’re having none of it as it used a code :/

Not sure I would have upgraded if I couldn’t take it back, but for the £100 extra it gave me 50% more power and a number of small benefits. I used about 75% power on the run to the next town and back with the m365 and thought would make it (just) it limited me going that bit further I wanted to.

For me there is the big things; being the power on hills etc and range but then there were small thing like Speedo (which you have) but for me I am 6ft and find the slightly taller handlebars and wider deck very minor I do find it more comfortable to ride, it is minor but I noticed it straight away.

If you are smaller or not using the scooter for prolonged periods to want it to be abit bigger and go abit further then probably not worth the upgrade.

Also if you want more power and want to reflash it then maybe importing to save £70 is better as the warranty would be void anyway.
