Cold because it's Gearbest and you may never receive them.

You don't receive them, you get your money back from gearbest or worst case from PayPal. I see no issue other than warranty. Hot from me
Bought about fifty things from gearbest and always turned up.

I have bought tons of.stuff from gearbest and it's fine it's it's a low value item.

I would never ever buy anything more than 30 quid or something that may require a warranty.

Disposable cheap items only.

You comparing a phone probably around £100 to a £17 headphone? I bought a £18 smart watch from gearbest. The first time it was sent, I didn't receive it. They sent a replacement and that I did not receive it. They offered a refund instead which I got. I can imagine phone will be problematic. But again you're covered by paypal.

Thought my package wasn't coming. Gearbest refunded me. Then it arrived (2 months later total)..
Paid gearbest back
Also these headphones are designed badly. The R and L are the wrong way round.

I'm also still waiting for my smart watch from gearbest ordered 29th Dec, and my £2.70 xiaomi headphones ordered 5th Dec. These are the only 2 items I haven't received among maybe 30 items ordered over the last 12 months.

Gearbest closed the case for the watch and told me to continue to wait (a bit cheeky of you ask me), and for the headphones I've been told to wait until 5th March. I'm not overly fussed, but it would be nice to get the items, so I've opened PayPal cases for both, maybe I get a refund.

When I first raised the issue, I was told to wait. Which I did, after that they were great
I had the triple driver version of these, didn't like them, not as good as the dual driver ones. Too much sibilance for me, I might be overly sensitive to it though. I went for the kz edr-9 and they are brilliant.

No, they aren't...or at least, they shouldn't be.

I've got the Hybrids, the Hybrid Pros and the two pairs of the Pistons (one black, one white) and all four pairs have the L and R markings on the side they should be on and left channel audio comes from the left earbud and right channel audio comes from the right earbud.

If yours are anything other than this, they're almost certainly knock-offs (of which there are plenty about).
Any reviews for these?
How much are they normally? I’ve got piston 2s that I don’t really rate not enough bass
Ordered mine from Gearbest, genuine and no delivery issues.
Comfort and build is fine, sound quality is quite good though bass is a little thin at times.
Overall they exceeded my expectations for the price.

Very honest of you, I would of kept the package and the refund for the hassel of waiting 2 months 😁
I have these..
- Cables are too thick and never lose their tangled shape.
- You can't listen in the wind because these funnel the wind directly into your ears.. terrible
I have these too:
- the cables aren't bad and don't get particularly tangled anymore than other cables, they certainly don't have a tangled shape. .
- I cycle with mine on and the wind noise is unobtrusive, you just need to get the right size tips on them and jam them right in.
- the design is based on the 1more Triple Driver in-ear headphone which are £100 on amazon, you wont get better sounding or quality headphones at this price anywhere. Period.

They're not knock offs I thought that too and checked them.

It's not that the L and R audio are wrong. It's that the fitting is wrong which then makes the L and R audio wrong when you have to switch them around.

I even checked the official Gearbest YouTube video and he also gets confused slightly on how to put them on by muddling L&R
youtu.be/JUN…yag
He puts them on the correct way of fitting. But if you notice the mic is on the left instead of the right (R written on the mic side ear) which is the opposite of what the L&R writing say.

Now you can put them on the way they say with R and L but they don't fit in the ear like intended. The back end that is protruding is supposed to be lodged into and touching the back of the ear which secures it from falling. I've found that with the back end protruding it will fall out with any jerk movement.
I do believe it is a design fault.

I must have weird ears or something; mine feel fine with the right earbud in my right ear and the left in my left.

I even just tried shaking my head about like some kind of epileptic woodpecker and they didn't fall out!

It must just be down to different people having differing ears...

You may have a fake pair. Gearbest had a fake batch a few months ago. They offered refunds.
I got two pairs of them from gearbest and both of them were fake copies so make sure yours are genuine after receiving.
I end up saying this in quite a few xiaomi headphone posts, but I go to China a lot and buy a decent amount of xiaomi stuff. I have also tested quite a few of the different headphones, as have my friends and the general consensus is that these are not as good as the hybrid dual drivers. Someone mentioned these are a bit thin on the bass, I would say that is an understatement, they are simply missing below a certain frequency. Parts (at the very low end) of songs just aren't there. This was tested on legitimate xiaomi earphones bought from the xiaomi store. The dual driver hybrid are a little bass happy but overall sound much better. (Obviously people have different ears but this is the general consensus from my group of friends)

I put them in exactly the same way he does and mine are labelled correctly with the mic attached to the R earphone. I bought mine from Gearbest a year ago and they sound great, I doubt if they're knock-offs.

I also have the older Xiaomi Pro's which I think sound better, however the kevlar cable is noisy and the buttons are fiddly to use, so I tend to stick with the Pro HDs.

The eartips provided with both these earphone's are not great. At the moment I'm using the tips from a pair of Musical Fidelity EB-33s. These tips are made from much thicker silicone and provide a better seal (as you'd expect with tips from £80 earphones!). I've also used InAirs foam tips, which are very good, but I got fed up replacing them every couple of months after the foam loses it's memory effect...

Yes, I have both and would agree about the tone of the HD Pros. However I prefer the cable and the remote buttons on the Pro HD - so I use these on my daily commute (much to the annoyance of the audiophile part of me!)

I should add that either of these earphones are fantastic value for money, you'll find nothing close on the UK highstreet for this price - voted hot, despite me paying under £17 for them a year ago.

Agree, had to stop buying as GearBest do not entertain any sort of refund if product(s) deemed delivered. EVEN when I've paid the extra insurance for it too!
PayPal also have the same stance.

No products, out of pocket = happened twice sept'17 & Dec'17 for Bluetooth speaker. Not the cheapest of items to be out of pocket with too
Not a great deal, been this or under for ages, in the actual flash sales you can get way better, I got the newer much better triple driver version for £7.60 in the black Friday deals. Wouldn't pay this much for the older (but still good) dual driver ones as they're often £10.

The Pro HDs are the triple driver ones ("Dual Dynamic and Balanced Armature Drivers"). The older HDs (non-pro) are dual driver. I have both.

I clicked the link in the Op which goes to the normal, anyway still doesn't change my comment, both have been available for £10 or less (I paid under £8 for both models), the Pro are often around £10 and the Pro HD under £15.

Same with me. Banggood though have let me down 100% of the time recently. They were great at first but literally nothing has got through in the last year so I have abandoned them especially as they refused to refund a torch I bought from them. They fobbed me off for six months and then said I was now to late for a refund.
I bought a set of these last year and they are amazing headphones for the money. The only fault with them for me is the shape of them as they do not want to stay in my ears unless I twist them around so that the stem is facing upwards.
