    i had xiaomi phone they use third party repairers when you have problems with phone and they charge you money . even its in warranty period, i had fault on charging, guy on xioami customer service said he had same problem, but after sending they come up bill saying warranty void because there is scratch on camera, not on body , i said i dont want replacement case, but they said they cant repair only charging port, its third party repairer so they can find so many excuse, i will no buy xioami anymore, i am going back to samsung

    Surely at this price if it breaks and warranty doesn't cover it. Would you not just buy another and sell the broken one for spares? (edited)

    I had a negative experience with the UK service centre repairs as well. This was for a Redmi 9.
    I'm also experiencing significant lag and slow down since the latest update on my Note 9.
    Overall, my experience of Redmi, has been far from expectations.
    My TCL 10 has been stellar, by comparison.

    Yes my note 9 pro has also started to misbehave after the last update, need 5g next but going to give Redmi a miss next time round.

    No. Maybe some exotic brands from Chinese websites or underwhelming devices like Alcatel 1B from UK sellers . If you want a smallish decent phone, you need to pay premium. Kids are fine with bigger phones. If you want something smaller , you can buy used phone like pixel 3a on ebay

    Hi all, I’ve seen this phone pop up on the deals and the 10 Pro at £149. I want to buy a couple for my kids (aged 10) that they can use for small usage on stuff like basic gaming, whatsapp, YouTube, some photos. Is it worth paying the extra or sticking to this one? Thanks in advance.

    Some people say buy as cheap a phone as possible for a 10 year old, but as long as they don't lose it or break it, they might keep a better phone longer and be happier with it.

    The question is what price can you get the 10 Pro for? Hopefully it will be down to around £124 again soon, and realistically will they notice and benefit from the differences. That's your call.

    I presume you can't use this with any Mi Points vouchers, for instance the 60 Mi Points for the £3 off, because it won't stack with the £40 off voucher?

    After buying the mi10t lite deal last year, i wont be buying another Xiaomi phone. My Oneplus 3T was far better.
