Cost doesn't always equal better as most android fans point out on any Apple iPhone deal!

I didn't know your rare breed still existed! TBH I was tempted by the X3 but a lot of money to shell out if it doesn't get long term support

I would hold off for the much rumoured surface phone.

I guess you and the other two buyers can't wait..

Does it have all the UK 4g bands?

4G: FDD-LTE Band 1/3/7
TDD/TD-LTE: TD-LTE B38/B39/B40/B41(2555-2655MHz)

Don't bother with this and pay the extra fiver for the 4 prime which is a completely different phone. If looking at this get the 3s it is slightly smaller but exactly the same internals. Mi5 totally different performance league

just ordered this, it is the 625 and 32gb version is on the description

For the money that's a really good CPU, RAM and Storage combo. Shame about the missing 4G band but you can't have everything.

I voted hot just for the 'you know what it is' comment.

The description says Snapdragon 625 Octacore so this must be the Pro/Prime version.
Cracking phone for the price, I'm on EE so the lack of band20 doesn't bother me.

As for the 3s, it has a weaker CPU (SD430) and only HD screen so nowhere near as good as the 4 Pro/Prime.

For a start you have listed the 4 none prime and have added a review for the note 4 which is different again .i own the 4 prime and have owned the 3 and 3s so think I have a fair idea of what I am talking about

You would be surprised screen looks hardly any different in practice whilst the processor has to do less work as a result. Day to day I find the two barely any different

Thing is, there doesn't seem to be correlation between what the device manufacturers list as international capabilities, and how the UK networks describe their bands. Which UK networks (3G, 4G) does this device support?

Ruddy HELL!, a Surface Phone, are you serious?, hehehe.

That would be kind of awesome! .. but MORE EXPENSIVE than ANY 'upper-end' Android offering's, no?, or ..... lol.

Depends what it is. It looks like Microsoft and Samsung are having a bit of a race to bring a foldable screen to market which Apple will then copy a year later and claim they invented it.

you also forgot to mention Apple will probably patent it and then charge Samsung and Microsoft for using their patents
