How do you check the deal? Or just accept that the deal is the same because it is not expired. Like really do you check the deal before you post clever clogs? The price is now £67.06 technically you are right it is cheaper, you a save 67 pence on that deal.

I bet you still voted that deal cold as well saying as you have a habit of coming into these deals and saying exatly the same thing.

The search is a wonderful thing though I agree. I found a post made by you where you have done exactly the same thing you have done here except you were comparing it to a completely different phone haha.

Basically you are a bit of a plonker (minus 'the bit of a')

Post more deals and check your facts before you start looking down your nose at other people who are posting deals.

Crickey!

I am by NO MEANS a phone expert - I-Phone and Cubot and Samsung & LG are all I have had... But THIS looks VERY good value to me in my humble opinion? Unless I am missing something?

One thing I have noticed though is that there are so, so sooo many "deals" being placed on here from GearBest.... Why not just use that site full stop then?

:-/

This is great value for this phone, you wouldn't get the phone for this price in the UK hence why Gearbest, Banggood and Geekbuying have a lot of deals posted here.
Would this be a worth while upgrade from a 2nd gen (2015) Moto E ?
Original Poster
Yeah I have the moto e and this phone and it is defintiely worth the upgrade. The build quality is really good for a budget phone.
Standard price at best, usually 64-65 and includes black/grey. Needs to be under 63 at least to be a deal these days.

I have never seen it for £64 anywhere, ever but the price does fluctuate. This is the cheapest deal I can see at the moment. The grey one is £82 currently at gearbest. I can't see it anywhere cheaper at the moment.
All three colours slightly cheaper at aliexpress. Seller Hong Kong Goldway.

No need for personal attacks but if writing all that makes you feel better about yourself then I am happy for you.
It can be a deal even if it was cheaper before. If I was looking for a phone I would check here for current deals, not past deals on a search. Also if I wasn't looking for a deal on a phone and the OP posted this, it may just make me want a new phone and this deal is probably a good deal to research further and will also have good reviews/comments by people and not people arguing about it not being a deal because it was cheaper 2 months ago.

Sorry for doing the same by joining this argument
Bought this for my missus at Xmas and she loves it. I was hit for £20.80 customs but I bought from LITB who printed the value on the outside of the package. Never had an issue with Gearbest. Even with an extra £20.80 this is a stonking phone. Customs delayed it by 2 weeks (5 weeks in total to arrive).

I've a Ulefone Power 2 myself, wouldn't hesitate buying from China again.

I just think you are one note and your response put my back up so I told you how it is. Nothing more than that. Maybe you should look at it as a learning experience rather seeing it just as a personal attack.

You and posters like you deserve that sort of response TBH. You've posted just 3 deals in 8 years and have the brass neck to deride someone else's deal? Sort yourself out.

The link I gave was to a deal that has not expired and remains cheaper than this. There are other deals cheaper than this as confirmed by others. Not using search is generally poor netiquette when posting deals and can be self-defeating if you are interested in the best deal for a given item. As for joining the argument, I can't call this exchange an argument. I highlighted this was not the best deal, as the point of this site is to help each other find the best deals, and I was challenged by OP there was not cheaper anywhere else. So I posted the first (of many) links pointing to a better deal. This tends to go one of two ways- either the OP remember the point of this site and has the humility to give thanks or as has happened here gets defensive, in this case descending into a name calling tantrum.

Posting deals is not the only way to contribute. Highlighting better deals is often valued. The point is to help each other find the best deal. I think you should reflect on what you have written and think whether your comment is fair.

It was a good comment! It doesn't count towards the statistics if that's what you're worried about. It all goes back to the discussions in the forum testing thread, a bit of an in joke, look it up if you are curious.

No, believe me I am fast learner. The way this site has been going in recent months l I'll just skip over deals like this next time and won't bother mentioning there are cheaper alternatives saving you money. I don't want to interrupt your perception of increased self worth from all the HUKD heat.
THANK THE GOOD LORD ABOVE! Amen to that!

To quote yourself 'if writing all that makes you feel better about yourself then I am happy for you'

The deal you linked to is now only 67 pence cheaper than this. I am still waiting for you to link to a deal that is £64 as you claim.

You did the same thing on another thread and compared a Redmi 4A to a Redmi 5A but the deal was infact a Redmi Note 5A anyway so you didn't even have the right phone in mind when comparing two different phones.

This is what I am referring to

hotukdeals.com/com…930

I think you are patronising and condescending by all means skip over my deals and don't comment, you can keep your 67 pence saving.

Do you honestly think i would give thanks for a comment made by you like this?

'How do you look? Like really, how do you look? Literally the first search result.'

Why don't you give yourself thanks, you like doing that anyway
Just curious, how many here have ordered a Xiaomi phone from Ali or GB and been snagged by customs, more so Aliexpress using free (non-DHL) shipping from one of the "official" Xiaomi sellers. Seriously considering one of these or maybe the Note version at between £60-80 but if there's a customs charge I might just buy a Huawei Y6 for similar money.

Should be ok on UK priority line I've never paid customs on this option. Recently had a £342 order marked as $20 value and arrived after one week of ordering.
Anyone got a link for a decent case for this phone...searching for one invariably brings up cases for the NOTE version instead!
I just wrote a quick comparison of the iPhone 5S camera vs this one (although mine is a 5A prime model) the camera is the same. It's actually decent. To me the iPhone 5S camera still tops it but everything else is far superior.

Was it you with codes for aliexpress? Can you explain? I can reduce to £64 only.
Tempted by this, I have a 32gb 4a which I think is fab, the only gripe I have is the shared sim2/micro sd slot which means I keep running out of space (I have a lot of music on there) - this has it's own separate sd card slot I believe.
