It's not a great phone but it works great enough as a kids phone to play Minecraft though. Storage is poor though but a lot of phone at this price point.

Lucky kid, expensive call for a game of minecraft.
🔥 but my faith in Xiaomi is on the wane due to their delays in upgrading Android One phones to 'Droid 10 then bricking mine for a couple of days with their toxic download . Give them their due though they did offer to collect and return to their service centre but I'd unbricked it myself.

They play all the other free games on them and watch YouTube etc but mostly it's all about Minecraft

MrSwitch could you possibly please help me? I’m looking for a decent phone, under £130 for my 18 year old daughter. After spending £150 on new screens for her iPhone (you only have to sneeze & it breaks!!), she’s finally realised that she’s wasting her money! I’ve been looking at the Honor 10 Lite for her, but wondering if there’s something better for the money? I have a Redmi note 8T myself & love it, I’ve had Xiaomi phones for years. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hiya, you can actually get the note 8/t on amazon for around your budget?

Thanks, is it much better than the honor 10 lite? I currently have a 64gb 1 of those in my basket on eBay for £115. I wouldn't want to get the 3+32gb note

Not a million times better but if it were me I'd pay the difference, however for your daughter I'd say the honor is more than good enough

Thank you for that, but I ended up getting her a Redmi Note 8, 4 64gb for £119, which I thought was a good price for a brand new 1 & more importantly it's in this country! At the end of the day, she's not going to be happy with anything, as she really wants a new iPhone.... Which I'm not buying 😁

Would this be adequate for video calls on Skype/WhatsApp/Alexa etc? Need a solution for my elderly mother who's not really supposed to see her granddaughter at present.
