Ideal for my mum, she may be getting an upgrade this Xmas.

Don't be so cheap. Get her the new hip she's always wanted.
I have the 7A 16GB version in Blue, unlocked it and flashed the EU rom, it was updated to Miui 11.0.6.0 EU rom via OTA this week. A lot of phone for very reasonable money.

Great advice and warning re risk of buying direct from China MrSwitch. That said I've not had an issue with Gearbest. As with most things when it works it's great.. when it doesn't it's not like dealing with Amazon. It's good you gave potential purchasers the info.

I ordered the same phone from eglobalcentral last week... Still waiting for them to post it but looks like a great phone for the money.

Thanks.

The last thing I want is for someone to purchase an item I've posted, and have a torrid time, the warning doesn't prevent that of course, but hopefully will make people think twice before seeing the headline price and thinking it's a no brainer.
It really isn't with these types of places

Any really, though bigger risks of customs etc from aliexpress.

I'd say games as in apps? Should be fine on this, though more intensive games will requite a better phone.

All slow boat, or xiaomi uk, and amazon do them, though nowhere near this price.
Hi, just about to order, should I take the shipping guarantee ?
Warning! Stupid question coming. Can I put a mico SD in this? If I do does it occupy one of the sim card slots? I can get this for a few quid cheaper in Vietnam, probably not the global version, but it will come with a warranty so i am tempted.

Got my 7A from a UK eBay seller with good ratings
8a on the same website maybe seems like a better deal for £10 more. In red only.
Doogee N20 looks interesting too

This is the guide I used to flash my 7A, you cannot unlock the bootloader immediately, you have to request the unlock and then wait for 1 week, after the the week elapses you can then unlock the bootloader with the unlock tool.

There are also good video guides on you Youtube as well.

£ 70.65 for me???

Bad enough not having NFC ,but no NFT makes it a bad deal.
Yer man
I took delivery of this a few days ago from another Chinese site. Its an amazing phone for this price. Perfect for kids as its totally functional without being expensive.
Mum wants this, upgrading from Lumia 550 same size more screen and better future support for security patches. Microsoft is stopping support in December. Am waiting for tomorrow when Quidco tend to increase cashback rates for certain retailers.

£62.80 with todays email updated my basket price when i clicked add to basket.

If you live in facebook/twatter this isn't the phone for you.

However for the other 95% of us, this offers 2-4 day battery life with use or even 2 days with heavy use.
