Do you know what's the difference between Chinese and Global verison?
BEWARE. There are two very distinct versions of these and I have both. I can’t say whether it’s the difference between CN and Global, but the CN ones I bought from gearbest last week have a depressed mi logo on the case and sound atrocious compared to the other pair I have which have a smooth mi logo on the case.

I have a CN version and they sound great so not sure what has happened to yours.

The only differences there should be between CN and Global is that Global has a touch control instead of physical button and supports more languages.

Thanks for your feedback.

Do these actually have noice cancellation like with microphones etc cancelling the sound out by playing anti-noise?

Description just sounds like they have vague, not promising anything type noise cancellation by being sort of good-ish
Good price Merb, heat added 🔥

Did the box they came in look the same? Trying to figure out if the ones I bought are legit or not as they are a gift
Many people, myself included have had issues with the right earbud not charging properly in the case. The left side falls in place properly and has a slight magnetic pull to keep it in plce, but for whatever reason, the right one sits loose and doesn't connect properly and has little to no magnetic pull.

I leave mine at my desk at work to 'charge' overnight, and the left one always has 100% and the right around 10%.

You get what you pay for I suppose.
I've heard mixed feedback on these from multiple comments whenever this has been listed and I've put off buying it twice, but can anyone tell me if these are actually good?

Unfortunately I binned the original box so I’m not sure. There are subtle differences between the actual units, though. I know someone else who also has the “rubbish” version with the indented mi logo and they also sound awful
I recently got the CN ones from gearbest and they have been not too great. It's the first time I've been disappointed in a Xiaomi product. the sound is okay but they keep losing the connection and cutting out no matter which pocket my phone is in (even the chest pocket on my jacket). I use them mainly for listening to audiobooks and podcasts so keep loosing track of whats happening!
I imagine I've just been unlucky as I couldn't find anything from googling.
got these, terrible quality, uncomfortable and quite heavy.
Gave mine away to a homeless person, he just looked at me when I said they will need recharging after a couple of hours use.

What would be a better alternative to these at a similar price range? (Less than £20)

The Tronsmart Spunky Beat earbuds get good reviews, have support for aptX and are less than £20 (£17.24 with new account). I'm waiting on mine to arrive from the 11.11 sale.
Some wired in ear headphones.
Does anyone know if the noise cancelling is any good on these?

That's what I'm wondering...
I found these keep falling out of my ears and needed a tinker with the equaliser to have a full sound.

They do not compare to true noise cancelling, but for £13 delivered their far better than the apple AirPods for blocking out annoying 3rd party train conversations and even better for keeping sound in... as opposed to hearing someone’s else’s rubbish taste in music... aka sound leakage. Make sure you change the earbuds....

Just funny how there isn’t actually any kind of noise cancelling feature. It’s just an ordinary headphone and they say noise cancelling. Like i could just talk to you and call myself noise cancelling cos i’m distracting you from other noise. But i wouldn’t advertise myself for it as a feature!

I’ve gone for totally unbranded £7 delivered instead.
