Chinese version are often cheaper, but usually lack band 20 support which is a major band in the UK - for 4G. They also sometimes require you to install Google Play - this doesn't apply to this phone.

But bands also vary by network provider, with EE having the most variety - Having band 3,7 and 20 support.

Meaning a Chinese phone without band 20 would see much more 4G coverage on EE than say, Three which only has band 3 and 20. O2 customers would see no 4G coverage, as their 4G service is only band 20.

Here's an more in depth article:
4g.co.uk/4g-…ow/

Hope this helps
Well am sorry , I wouldn’t be shelling out £300 for a phone with no warranty and doesn’t work to its full capacity in the UK . Cold
Good price. Fine if you are not affected by B20 and won't travel to countries with your contract that would warrant it.
I don't understand all these spam deals on Chinese items that don't work properly in the UK
I see it everyday,
I'm on HUKD for good deals, not advertisements please

I get your point, but, this does work properly in the UK and it's clear which band support is not there. It'll still be 4G on some networks without a single issue. So it's not an advertisement really, just that it will be cheaper than the Global variant for this reason.

I just explained that it will work fully as long as you aren't an O2 customer. £300 for:
SD855
4000mAH Battery
AMOLED Notch-less screen

Goldway and AliExpress also provide a 1 year warranty.

They have Chinese ROM which can be an issue for Google pay
If the rumours about Huawei phones were true, then a Chinese ROM phone would be the last thing you want to have
There is a reason why they have Chinese and global versions

Are you really talking about the non-existent warranty from Chinese sites?

Sure, but nobody is hiding this fact. It's clear to see and is up to the buyer. It's still incredibly cheap and you can flash your own ROM if you wish (Xiaomi will themselves give you access to the bootloader to do so free of charge).

This is the Global ROM version, there should be no issues with Google Pay.
In relation to the warranty - I've heard nothing but good reviews from HK Goldway. You have to pay for return shipping, around £15. They will fix it, and you will have to buy one of their ~£0.80 items and they will return it for you. Not as simple as a UK warranty but excellent for a Chinese seller.

Or just get insurance.

It won't work fully on basically any network, they all use band 20 now, mostly for VoLTE which imo is an essential.
Hoping this will be realeased, as a global version, in Europe. But all the indications are that we will get the K20 non pro version.

There's still nothing suggesting Mi 9T Pro apart from it appearing on Geekbench<. However see XDA article here< which points out those can be faked. Here's a Redmi Note 5 Geekbench test< showing it has MSM8952 (Snapdragon 617).

If there is a Mi 9T Pro, I doubt it'll be launched on 12th June alongside the Mi 9T. If it were, there'd be more evidence of its existence by now. Mi 9T has appeared on certification boards, seller listings and unboxing videos but not Mi 9T Pro.

I’ve also heard that when you flash the K20 pro to the global firmware, the device name changes to Mi9T Pro. Not confirmed however.

That's what I thought. Also there is the expected pocophone f2 and a mi mix 4 for later in the year.

Yeah, it was me who mentioned that yesterday on a previous deal of yours:
hotukdeals.com/com…382

It used to be quite common for resellers to modify the China ROM to create 'fake/vendor' Global ROMs so I'm not sure if that's what Fantacy have done but their screenshot says Beta. If it's an official ROM, it would only suggest Xiaomi planned for Mi 9T Pro but doesn't confirm there'll be one.

So it was! Oh well. I just hope it won’t be too long before we see the Mi9T Pro/Pocophone F2/ K20 Global/ Mi10T 2.0 Special Poco Edition 3000
does this include import taxes/vat etc?

A post from the General Manager of Xiaomi Russia seems to confirm Mi 9T Pro won't be available initially, but will arrive at a later stage: twitter.com/yur…416

Watched a YouTube review of the Mi 9T the other day, may well be the replacement for my A2 Lite. Must admit I've enjoyed the AndroidOne experience, don't think I've ever had a mobile that's been kept so up-to-date.

Noticed the Mi 9T's up on TobyDeals & eGlobal for £305.99. Where's MrSwitch with a 50% OFF code when you need one
Will any of the SD855 versions (europe, chinese etc.) ever have band 20 support?

Would this include import tax or customs cost?
