This way you will have a EU plug / charger for travelling and a UK one for home use. AND you will still have over £200 spare cash to pay the higher energy/fuel bills this year! (edited)
You wish
Nope (edited)
Except when Samsung does bring out an update that then proceeds to disable your phone's ability to see any SIM cards and refuse to do anything about it.
Or spend it on Play Store by using Vodafone Billing.
huge display, variable text sizes (standard for Android).
I find it easy to use, but then I'm an existing Android user. I'm avoiding the native apps, and I don't like the fact they can't be removed.
comes with a clear plastic bumper case, and the phone itself is available in three colours on the Vodafone site. screen protector comes pre-installed.
genuinely a good deal. I've just replaced an old Android 9 handset with this deal and I'm really happy. (edited)
As described above clear
Xiaomi phones aren't for everyone and MIUI is nowhere near as polished as Samsung's One UI. New Samsung phones like the Galaxy A53 will get 4 years of os updates and 5 years of security updates. For many people that will be a big deal.
There is. There is a Vodafone specific version of the ROM that is different from the retail version and is several updates behind.
Good news is that you can flash to the retail version and apparently without unlocking bootloader with XiaoMiTool xiaomitool.com/V2/ (edited)
I bought it was when it £98.
Mate Huawei is the only one getting banned by the US and therefore Google services as a repeat of Japan on the 80s with their technological advances by the Chinese must be stopped, Xiaomi on the other hand is jjsy an assembly firm if you like and poses zero threat to the Yanks, hence why no restriction what so ever
XiaomiTool can be used to flash Global ROM. No bootloader unlock required. So can be done without having to wait and doesn't mess with security so banking apps etc are unaffected as sometimes they can be with bootloader unlock. Did it successfully myself on a Poco not so long ago that had EEA ROM and was stuck on old update. Some technical experience and confidence required though to be successful.
I'd think maybe they're hung up on buying a £600 phone that doesn't even come with a charger when a £130 one does! Chargers may be cheap but Pixel 6 aren't lol. (edited)
Never any stock in store and they are pretty much as useless as the phone line customer service
Yes. Long and short of it is Google shut it down. It will continue to work, but only for so long as Google updates YouTube and renders the current (last) version of Vanced, broken.
There are some alternatives, but none as good as Vanced. NewPipe is okay but there is no airplay and you can't sign into YouTube.
There are a couple of upcoming projects that might be worth looking at. See Vanced's website, they explain everything in detail and offer some alternatives.
Not as good. Battery life will be better but that's about it. Cameras worse. Mate 20 Pro was flagship this is bargain basement. That said it's usable and if you aren't worried about cameras and you don't game it's fairly capable day to day.
Well it won't be dying. Screen much bigger than s9 and it's better than you'd expect at this price. Battery life very good. Cameras yeah step down there. 5g is nice. Again S9 was flagship this isn't by some distance. But it's not bad device.

For both if you valued waterproofing or wireless charging it won't fit the bill. From Oled dropping down to LCD could be an issue.
Ultimately I was quite impressed with this phone but I bought it at £99 and in the end still sent it back. (edited)
Search previous Vodafone deals for information on how to!
Plenty of protective cases available on eBay.
I have a Xiaomi phone and never had a screen protector or case on it, it's had multiple drops, got a few dents and scratches on it but still going strong. Very durable.
Not a lot of choice in the UK. However AliExpress has many. So I wouldn't worry about it.
The description says it comes with a protective case, but if you don't mind waiting a while, you can get some good ones from Ali Express:

Of course
Phone companies can't sell locked phones.
They're allllllll using Android, just different 'flavours' of it, etc etc?
That's all ...
There's at least 5 variations of Android out there now, to be frank
Some versions more common/obvious than others ...
(And of the one's that I know of at least)
Some of them, are as follows:
MUI
EMUI
Oxygen
Harmony
Fire OS
Android itself
And come 'Tomorrow' too, then ...
If you like the Poco variant
Just get the Poco F3, instead?
Done ...
This one, no
But I'm currently using the Xiaomi Note 9
And it's decent ... (edited)
Pros over the s10 for me: Screen looks better (samsung seems to have a yellow hue too it I cant change), battery life is FAR superior (My samsung will be near the 20% range by end of the day, while the Xiaomi with the same or more use will be around the 75% mark!) and some things it seems a little bit faster even. 5G connection (WAY WAY faster than 4G so can actually watch things on it and do things I cant on a 4G connection.. also when im out, I now set it up as my internet hotspot and have several devices running off a 5g connection instead of the 4g one I used from the older phone).
Cons: Some apps refuse to work on it and/or load up. Feels cheaper. Camera is a lot worse and doesn't seem to have any stabilisation, so slightest shake will blur most shots. Sometimes not as responsive. Fewer updates to the OS (Had one security update since I got it, the s10 gets them monthly). Not waterproof/weatherproof (not that ive tested it!). No wireless charging. (edited)
I've yet to see a locked dual SIM mobile.
MInimum Android 7 for banking apps though I think, and probably 8 quite soon.
Clear your cache or use a different device. Went through fine for me just now
Worked for me just now. Perhaps clear your cache or try ordering from a different device (edited)
Put Sky sim in and it works. Can confirm device is unlocked!
Can confirm too device is unlocked. Virgin.
if its anything like my experience they will tell you its locked and so must use a vodafone i think its a way to get you to buy a sim contract.
I ended up ordering using a different email address and received the phone today - so speedy delivery at least!
