cracking fone for the price puts apple and samsung too shame
No deal button??
no memory card slot??
I wish xiaomi would support 800mhz 4g
Would this support a standard Vodafone 3g Sim?

Would this support a standard Vodafone 3g Sim?

Yes. It supports both 900MHz and 2100MHz which is what Vodafone use for 3G.
PRE-SALE.
Don't expect this before 2016
Can anyone advise if there is any 4G Network in UK that this would work on? followed the links but I can't figure it out! currently on BT/EE
Chances of getting this delivered sans VAT and duty?

EE/BT should be fine as well as Vodafone.

About 50/50. But that's the risk you take ordering from anywhere out there. This time of year you've a better chance, but it may well not get to the UK until Jan.
You can have it expedited, you'll get in about 5 days but you'll defiantly get hit for vat and duty. Swings and roundabouts...

Unlikely; they use "UK Express" which is Yodel and it is documented as being delivered from Hayes, Mdx.

Fallen out with Gearbest now; the item that I recently ordered was not in stock in that colour and they are fighting not to give me my money back! Unfortunately, re-ordered from Geekbuying and they, too, don't have the colour. Trying to cancel but they won't respond. Another Paypal special.

Finally did an online chat with Vickmall who confirmed that they had stock and have shipped within 2 days. So, be careful with these companies- now £600 pending on the credit card.......

I'm typing this on my Cubot H1 which arrived yesterday from Gearbest. No VAT or duty. They put the value at 1 cent. Amazed they get away with it really.

HM Customs and Excise have the power to look at a person's bank account and see where the money was spent. However they won't do this for one off orders, if you were ordering a lot of stuff and arranged with the seller to lie about the real cost then you'd get in proper trouble. So yes small orders can and do get away with not paying customs, larger orders definitely not.

Sorry, I meant "very likely"- misread and didn't see "sans"....... I had a K3 Note delivered from HK in 7 days by Yodel, but dumped on the doorstep (3 people at home that day...).
anyone knows if this would work with three uk sim card? 4g. thanks!
So it might not work properly in the UK, you might have to pay import duty and other taxes .. ahhh another hot UK Deal
will arrive next year bad
Beware of gearbest's warranty and customer service. I had a zte blade bricked by an official update. I had to pay return postage to China and three weeks later they still claim they have not received the phone.
Trust me , do not bother, some of the flaws will make you lash it at the wall, and dont get me started on the dodgy bloatware , crap popping up , and its not easy to remove
I have the Redmi Note 2 and it's working fine with 3 and 4G.

What flaws?
what bloatware..? not easy to remove....just flash the official ROM takes about 5 minutes after downloading.
Has anyone noticed that deals from Gearbest never fail to get heat?

That's the 32GB.
There is no point buying a 16gb version without the sd card support.
Hmm, nice specs and price, however the last preorder tablet I bought from Gearbest was delayed nearly two months (I don't blame Gearbest obviously) and then even though the pre-order price was a 'sale price', between shipment and delivery the price dropped below the price I paid and since then has been consistently below the price I paid. Personally I would wait until after it is actually being delivered on this one and then there is also the potential they will stock it in their EU warehouse for a similar price as well so you can be sure to avoid additional charges.
Guys I would like to buy xiaomi device soon, but I was wondering which site is the best? How works warranty in DX, gearbest etc.?
I have never buy antything from Asia (except some small stuff from ebay)

Totally dissatisfied with this company. I got the same problem like you. No response when I ask for cancellation or return.

Most likely for warranty you will need to ship phone back to China.
Thanks!
i got the note 2 and it's excellent (as it has TIF card and dual sim) the only difference with the note 3 is a better frame rate on video and a fingerprint scanner...to get the best out of note 2 just root it (it doesnt affect warranty and easy to do)
Here's the cheapest on ebay and its a UK seller, so lots less hassle...

Redmi Note 2 is plastic, though. Not a deal breaker for everyone I guess...

Fair do's (i got an aluminum case for mine) for the price and specs it's a great phone...Xiaomi products are really well built with a nice customisable O/S (i flashed MIUI 7 recently) to be honest i was a bit disappointed by the unveiling of note 3 (not enough upgrades to warrant another iteration.

In what way? Did you have to return a product so far or to ask for a refund?
Otherwise, just the fact that you received the product doesn't really qualify as excellent service.
Excellent is also a big word, I would say Amazon offers excellent service, is ibuygou comparable to Amazon in any way?
Gearbest dodgy as hell, AVOID like the plague, or take a gamble, better ordering from Ebay.
