Don't forget 8% Quidco or 7.57% Topcashback for potentially £103 after cashback.

Change 'Ship to' country to U.S, add to cart then change back to UK, for the stated price. Only Grey colour at this price.

Global Version comes sealed pre-installed with Official Xiaomi Global ROM and has Band 20 for full UK network support.

If buying cases for this phone, look for 'Redmi Note 4X' cases or ones that specify Redmi Note 4 'Global Version' since the ones advertised as just 'Redmi Note 4' will likely be for the original Mediatek model which has different housing from this updated Snapdragon model.

Also 4/64GB model currently around £134 from Fantacy. >>Click Link<<

Being the Global version, this does have 4G B20 800Mhz support

No UK warranty. If you buy this, the world will end in a massive fireball, and there'll be nothing left except cock roaches and pot noodles. Erm....... Hang on....... Nope, my name isn't Sam, and I'm not from London.
Good deal.
It took a week for Aliexpress to even process my order, but it's now on its way.

Why are people buying screen protectors? Seriously? Is it just for … Why are people buying screen protectors? Seriously? Is it just for anti-glare? The screen appears to be extremely robust and even fairly waterproof according to YouTube videos.

Regardless of how robust it appears, screens are scratch-resistant not 100% scratch-proof. Therefore many people would rather have the peace of mind knowing that any risk of scratches would be on a protective layer that costs a few quid and can be easily replaced, than to have it directly onto the screen that would be a lot more difficult and costly to replace. Likewise for cases. The phone housing would be robust enough for most people under normal circumstances but most would still opt to use a case so they have an extra level of protection.
For those thinking of buying this phone I can report I have been using it for 2 weeks now and am honestly amazed at what you are getting here for this price. Everything operates fast and smooth, the camera is good enough, and the battery life is fantastic. I come from having nearly always had the galaxy s-series phones and in real life use this stands up to comparison well - especially in terms of value for money. I use it with nova launcher as I was not in love with xiaomi's UI and it flies along.
There is some messing around on set up to enable notifications and data usage as the default set up seems to be to restrict for battery saving. However you only have to do this once.
One problem I have noticed (I don't know whether it's just me) is the system Mail app seems to suffer at the expense of the battery saving measures and once the phone went into sleep from the lock screen (say after 30 mins or so) I stopped receiving email notifications. After a lot of tinkering I think the reason for this is xiaomi have not enabled an autostart option for there own system apps! Seems like a bug to me. I got around it by installing my own email app (Alto which I can also recommend) and as it is an 'installed' rather than 'system' app you can enable autostart and the problem was solved. Anyway, apologies for bleating on, hopefully it may help someone!

yes, lots on here bought the redmi note 3 from Dreami, me included. Good retailer.
what's the delivery time like?
One of the best batteries (4100mAh, 119hours endurance rating) - comes 4th in the gsmarena list: http://www.gsmarena.com/battery-test.php3

No fast-charging support though, but 3 hours to fully charge is not too bad for such a large battery.

You're not a few others on here either...:p
.. I've had numerous phones from UK retailers which disintegrated and the service was abysmal, expecting you to post phones off for a month at your own expense etc... I'd rather save the money and worry about fixing it myself, I have numerous hammers which are eminantly suitable for delicate soldering...:{

Erm, I was joking. It was a little too subtle, perhaps.
How does this compare to the Mi5? I'm so tempted by one of these Xiaomi phones.
Just to add I bought one of these snapdragon note 4's and a regular redmi note 4 case fitted just fine. Phone is awesome too btw

Don't worry, he was making a reference to quite a biased member of the site who comments a lot on phone deals. Example here.

On the bright side it means his notoriety hasn't spread throughout HUKD enough for everyone to have witnessed or taken onboard his 'opinion'.

Mi5 mainly has a much better CPU & camera, but costs ~£70 extra. No 4G B20 800Mhz support on the Mi5 though.

Hmm, that's very tempting. I've got a galaxy s6 at the moment but the battery is shocking and I think it's over powered for what I need and I could pocket the proceeds from its sale.

Is this the same one I've just flaming well paid £148 for from the deal last week???

Is your case a hard shell type that wraps around the sides only but has open top/bottom? I'd say certain cases will be okay but the IR blaster was repositioned from the top centre of the original Note 4 to the top right-hand side so original Note 4 cases that cover the top edge will probably block the IR blaster of this model and have a hole in the center for nothing.

Yeah that was 4/64GB. It's currently around £134 though from a few sellers.

Yes, willmyphonework.net/
If you do want to go for the aliexpress warranty they offer, you currently need to send it to Hamburg, Germany for inspection/repair. They credit you $5 toward your postage. Sounds like you need to chase them for replacement/credit using the warranty, don't think there is a right answer as the whether you go for it or not.

It's a global rom with a sealed box. You'll be fine.

No, it would be unnecessary. If you look at the table of differences in the description, 'Global Version' is 'sealed box' because it comes pre-installed with Official Global ROM so flashing it yourself would make no difference. Custom/vendor ROMs with potential adware/spyware are usually only an issue with China versions. If you look at the table CN Version Redmi Note 4X is 'opened box' because it comes pre-installed with China ROM so the seller installs Global ROM themselves. However since 'Global Version' has this already pre-installed, sellers have no reason to tamper with it.

I've got the same model few weeks ago. Amazing value for money. I've upgraded from Nexus, and I do feel this represents better quality.
Performance wise, very snappy, for all the day to day apps. I don't do gaming though so not sure how it performs there.
I also love the software. As a pure Android fan, I was worried about the customized ROM.
The features added are actually brilliant and I'm a Xiaomi convert now

I'd definitely go for this Xiaomi - better company, better quality, better CPU & much bigger battery.
Got mine this past Monday, hugely impressed. Ridiculously good value for money.
