This is not a budget phone though, is it?.

It's a high-end phone, at a budget price, etc (which is not quite the same thing like, is it?).

Besides which, it's a Chinese phone, based in China, remember?.

Meaning no NFC by 'default', on account of the fact that the bulk of East Asia (China, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, etc etc), don't use the NFC thing anyway, so as such have no need for it unfortunately ...

They more readily make use of the QR Code's thingy's instead, via thing's like We Chat, to, eg. transfer money from one friend/family member to another, etc.

So no need for NFC, or whatever?, basically.
No B20 4g on this model, but no f you do t need it this is a bargain

Wouldn't describe any aspect of it as a high end phone. This isn't a pocco offering top end chip at mid range Samsung prices. Would suggest it is about its money now given the huge competition at this price point. No nfc in the UK market is nigh on unforgivable, albeit you're right in that it was designed for the Chinese Market

And yet they state it's an international version- gets confusing
I am sure @MrSwitch has said before that this actually does have B20 from eglobal - but they haven't updated their listing
Is this worth it at this price? £153 New.

Yeah, the 6gb version was never available as global as I understand it, it was only the 4gb/128. This may well be a flashed version with the global rom, these days you csn never tell with eglobal.

That's my point. If budget phones in 2012 can have it then phones like this definitely should. The East Asia argument doesn't wash with me anymore. Xiaomi has expanded to officially selling phones in Western Europe including the UK. Not having NFC in a phone is going back years.
