Good price.
Thank you @Mrswitch
Got the blue version yesterday from the Mi store on Amazon for £179 for the father . Very good price Mrswitch and 2 year warranty.
Probably one of the best phones around for the money and looks like a huge improvement with the camera from previous notes .

Yeah, you csn get the 128gb version cheaper from eglobal etc. But no warranty may be a factor for some, me personally, I've never had a phone fail on me, not to the point of sending it off to get fixed, so the savings I'd be happy with.

I have ordered a phone from Gearbest and tablet from eglobal and never had import and both never faltered . But I did have to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery .

I had touchscreen fail on Redmi note 3 few years back. Brill phone till that happened. Gotta Sharp Aquos now but looking for a new phone with 6" plus screen, 4000mah plus battery, half decent camera and nfc. Sooo hard to find a decent one cheap.

Yes, I know. But once you're used to paying with your phone it's very difficult to go back to cards.
Forgive my ignorance but a genuine question:-

With the camera being 48MP does that mean the memory will be filled more quickly than usual?
Bought, thank you Mr Switch.

Potentially, yes. But most Xiaomi phone have an SD card and you can save to it automatically rather than internal memory.

Thanks for answering. I just checked my 18 month old present phone and it has only used 3GB of memory for photos/videos so even at (x4) the 64GB memory would more than suffice.

I was asking about storage my friend.
I have this and can't fault it. I paid £153 from eglobal, I think.

But you said your last phone only had 3gb of memory. Sounds 12 years old not 18 months . That’s why I said are you getting mixed up my friend .

Suggest you re-read his post, 'used 3gb' is how I read it!
I brought one last night for the wife from ebay ebuyer. Was considering the ones from Amazon resellers but don't think they include warranty. I emailed mi world and another and both came back with responses that didn't answer my question about 2 year warranty.

Those are unofficial channels, so I'd say they wouldn't come with warranty.

Someone who previously bought from 'Mi World' confirmed that it's HK Version<. Essentially the same as UK Version except without red "Global Version" sticker and as mentioned in the subsequent comment it'll have a different Global ROM.

i bought from amazon. i thought it was amazon but turned out to be mi world. What i received was a bottle of "animal cleaner". I dont know who stole the phone from merchant to my house, but that was the worst/appalling receipt I have had. Amazon were very good to quickly refund (although they wanted me to send back the "animal ear cleaner").

I hope it was a one-off.
