How likely is it that these Mobile brands will suffer same fate as Hauwei …How likely is it that these Mobile brands will suffer same fate as Hauwei seems inevitable to?

Huawei was seen as a ‘threat’ due to their dominance in the networking industry. They’re 2-3 years ahead of the competition for 5G etc.

Xiaomi is more consumer-tech-centric and is not on the same level that they could be seen as a threat.
I'd love to buy from this site (right?) and 5 days ago I would've jumped at the price and specs... but now I'm stupidly wanting more. Hehe, buying phones is so stupid.
I think if i get another Xiaomi I'd still buy direct from China. The risk vs reward balances it out at the mo
Be very careful with ordering from Mi.com. Several customers received empty boxes (or packets of business cards) on the Mi Mix 3 deal. I would strongly advise checking the package before accepting delivery as there has been a spate of thefts at what appears to be the Colissimo France side (La Poste). If you do encounter an issue you are likely to have a long wait receiving a refund from Mi.com. I have been advised that it will take a minimum of 3 weeks to be refunded (despite refusing delivery and the tracking number showing that the package has been returned to sender).

I'd advise avoiding Mi.com entirely to be honest and going for Banggood/GB/etc.

( Some of the problems with Mi.com in the Mi Mix 3 deal. )

It is, yes. Xiaomi UK is based in France (Boulogne I believe.)

Wow, that's baffling, never expect that direct from the manufacturer

What the sodding hell?!.

How can a NON UK site (from France, or whatever the hell), be pitched to the World as UK in the first place?, or ...

How at all does any of that make sense? (or is that just me?, lol).

What next, Trump admitting he was wrong about Huawei?, and offer's to allow China to trade under the U.S's official America site too like?, or ... hehehehehehe.

Wonder's never ceases no?, lol.
I got Samsung 8 was going to get pro 20 because of camera aaarh what to do ffs

Put it this way, how important is that camera thing to you exactly?, or ...

Baring in.mind that the Pro 20 is at least DOUBLE the money?.

That's how I'd interpret it for myself anyway, lol.

That's a third party seller with 91% 74 rating shipping from HK.

Its available at ebuyer for £179 of you don't want the added extras.
@Mrswitch is this better than the A70 deal you posted, than can be had for £209?

My main concerns are battery life, a sizable crisp hd screen and build quality. I'm not too fussed about camera quality etc.

That's the million dollar question, I'd choose the A70 at the current price nothing really compares, but when it eventually goes up to £369 again, then the note 7 all day long.

Undecided between this vs note 5 for £99 ordered from Argos.
Audio performance over headphones? Bangin loud vibrant tunes or tiny mince wimp sounds?
I once got a business card instead of a mobile when using the Wish App. Thankfully Wish refunded me rather than the actual seller.

Yeah Wish is a joke. You get much better coverage through AliExpress tbh (although you will probz get customs)
Is this the same camera that is in the mi 9?

Have only ordered 1 phone from China (directly from the Xiaomi AE page) and it’s been stuck in the UK 3 weeks... AE won’t help; Xiaomi won’t help... I can safely say I’ve lost the package.

Which site would you recommend?
Our office got Xiaomi for company phones under recommendations. Good specs but they have poor build compared to apple and top end manufacturers. Poor camera quality, funny os quirks, random things that don’t happen with even an iPhone se. Battery life is good with them though. Crap warranty as no one fixes them. So it’s a pure replacement phone. And we bought 7, so not going back on upgrades.
Awesome deal
Doesn't this deal work out the same as Amazon?

Well Mi has released 7S with better camera hence price of this handset is down. This phone retails around £90 in Asia.

I like banggood. But I've used them, gearbest and AliExpress with no ptovldm.
I've had one problem with banggood where the package was stick in customs UK, and although they took a long time to rectify it they did send out a replacement. It was not a phone, but about £40 of other bits. They wanted to make sure the parcel was not just delayed

Use a credit card and you can deal with any issues with them
They gave me a refund once as the phone was dodgy

Yeah, but it's from a seller that ships from HK with 74 ratings and 91% feedback, not an official mi seller, plus you get the band, case and power bank in this op, which is a better overall deal, all this is in my opinion of course
Just got a mipad 4 from banggood, and got by hit by customs, first time ever. I think it was the express air post that was the issue.
