It's 1.66 to pay to have your item packaged, posted and sent over in an plane where a few people will organise your shipment to your local courier. Who will then drive out and post it to you. How could you even complain about this postage cost?

Jeez it's 1.66 not £166, not the biggest investment of the year surely?!

It was just a simple genuine question , if you failed to understand. You are no one to lecture someone on how one should spend their own pound. Your harsh comment was uncalled for, that too after @vwdan clarifying his comment.

No complaints here. I was simply asking a question because most items on Gearbest offer a free non-recorded shipping method and I thought that perhaps I was doing something wrong as I couldn't select it in this case. It really isn't that deep

Are you for real? A simple question yet again being grossly miss interpreted along with that radical assumtion.

I don't actually see that option for me... It is only offering a 5.05 railway registered service?
I'd be looking for the free shipping option to try and avoid VAT/customs holding the item. That might be all he meant, no need to be so hostile.

Quite agree. And I thought prices on things here were supposed to include the minimum postage, so the questioner was quite right to think that there might be a free postage option that he'd missed.
Thanks for posting

Perhaps you're not au fait with Xiaomi products? Here's a review of the previous version of this powerbank. I have two of those picked up for £8 delivered via a Gearbest sale, coming now almost to two years, used almost daily and still have about 90% of their original capacity as measured via a USB meter and real world experience. Xiaomi's attention to design and quality are second to none. A friend of mine picked up the Xiaomi Air laptop recently and sold his 2017 Macbook afterwards, it's superior in every way.

Sure there are many bottom tier Chinese manufacturers whose products may set your house on fire, but Xiaomi is not bottom tier and definitely not one of those.
Would this support fast charging on a Samsung?
