Weird one, had one in my basket and started checking out with paypal then realised it was in dollars so checked back. Then gets an email to say thanks for your order but you need to complete payment which I duly did. Now telling me the flash sale is over? Maybe just me. If anyone reading this who hasn't got these amazing bulbs, if you can get it for this price GO FOR IT!

Mine loses its connection way too often. Barely use it for WiFi control access. Which makes this an expensive ordinary light

No probs 10.99 USD = ~ GBP 8.40

Ordered mine just over a month ago still waiting for delivery

Previously posted by Kandinsky at £8.80. Absolute steal. Have 4 of these which work well with Amazon Alexa. They have direct wifi (unlike Hue) and work perfectly with the Yeelight App Singapore server. Never had any connection problems so far.

They can change colours. Have various "scene" colours and you can tell Alexa to set them to 25% 50 % or 100% brightness or whatever you want. You can also put them on a timer. You can control them from anywhere in the world that has has wifi. Your wall switch becomes obsolete as you just tell Alexa to switch the lights on or off. So much better and cheaper than Philips Hue in my opinion. No expensive bridge required.

Do these work with google home as well or just alexa?

Heat!

Can these work together with Hue lights? I have 4 Hue lights around the house and would much prefer to now start getting these for rest of the house... but trying to work out how they'd work with the Hues.

I guess better question would be, is it possible to have the Hue lights working together with the Xiaomi smart home app - that way I could have just one app to control all smart devices around the house.

For some newbies on this gadget, that sounds like you are mocking someone PFTTT

Are there any limitations with these? Can they be used with Phillips Hue for example? Or Siri?

I've got one of these, great gadget! Heat added (I paid £13 a while back)

Got another to add to my growing home automation plan 😊

Do you need any additional hardware to use with a Echo

Dammit E27 why no bayonet type

I'm wondering if I shouldn't have gone with Xiaomi instead of the Phillips Hue setup...

the coupon raises the prices for me, not lowers it!

Its allowed me to use the code on two bulbs. If i add ne more price goes up. Will be my 5th n 6th ones of these. Very impressed with them. I have a few color hue bulbs and for the price, these kick their ass....the strips for like £20 are awsome too.

Code works fine for me in the app. I'm not sure why other users are restricted. May be they've limited the number of codes used via the website and via the app?

They dont work with hue stuff people done some cleaver things to mske em work. But looked more effort then i was willing to put in. However if using an echo. U can make groups with these bulbs and hue bulbs all in and control them all that way.

I've got some Hue and a couple of these colour Yeelight bulbs. Google Home sometimes acknowledges all the lights at the same time (eg switched them all off) and sometimes works with only one of them (switches off either Hue or Yeelight bulbs). I can't get IFTTT to control both sets at the same time either.

Moral of the story of either go 100% Hue (maybe mix ZigBee systems) or go completely with Xiaomi Yeelights. Don't make the same mistake as me!

Thanks, that's pretty much what I've decided.
Probably should have gone full Yeelight though, if I've any chance of doing the whole house without having to remortgage it though.

Since they changed the delivery options to railway, I haven't received either of my latest orders...

Trying playing with stingify as well as ifttt. I managed to get them all set up bouncing between the two apps as such. (Ifttt and stingify) took me a little while and alot of trail and error. But it can be done, in a not so elegant way.

I've got 16 of them throughout the house now, using various adaptors, the yeelight app was a pile of garbage until recently and also used to unlink itself every single day from my IFTTT account....since the app upgrade about 2 weeks ago it's worked flawlessly.
