So they work with Google Home but not Hue? Interesting

Cheers Ton, Another light on the way.

Not working for me. Code expired?

These bulbs are the dog's danglies! Have them all over the house now, working perfectly in conjunction with Alexa...absolute bargain at anything up to 20-25 quid TBH. Heat added.

Great prices BUT despite ordering 2 bulbs several weeks ago, nothing has turned up yet!
Update - bulbs arrived yesterday (28th Oct 2017) - took about 6 weeks!!

They are good just a shame the light only has a small part to come out of doesnt seem bright enough.

Is it adding £0.40 postage for everyone? I don't really need another one, the extra £0.40 when it says free shipping as stopped me. Probably for the best.

Still a good price either way though.

Keeps saying the code has expired (I'm signed in)

Yeelight use wifi and Hue use zigbee. But Yeelight are fully google home and alexa compatible and do not require a bridge so not really a problem to have both make of bulb in your house?

Code Expired for me too

Version 2 will be 800 lumens, same as Hue. Personally, for those with multiple light sources in their living room (we have 2 lamps and a ceiling light) the comparitive lack of lumens is not an issue, especially when you can buy 3 Yeelights for the price of half of one Hue.

Can't seem to get mine linked up to Alexa.

Might seem a daft question but have you added the Yeelight skill to Alexa?

I've been trying to get these on previous deals for a while, but the code would never work for me.

This time though... 2 ordered in separate transactions HOT!

Price still goes up for me...

Yeah pal, gone through the Alexa app, selected yeelight but can't detect it. Any clues?

I'm not getting the option of using unregistered air mail when I check out. I think something is broken.

This happened to me too earlier today when ordering the Mi Fit band... still, 40p registered mail is a bargain.

With Google Home you had to change to the Singapore server for them to pick up. Not sure if its the same with Alexa.

Ah that sounds ideal. Thanks. Much cheaper than Hue too

Does anyone know if you can use them just with Google assistant on your phone without a google home device?

It seems like you should be able to, but every time I go into Google assistant and try to add them as a smart device I get "couldn't update the setting. check your connection". The MiHome account shows that Google has access and they work perfectly with Alexa. It's not a huge issue but I feel like it should work. Anyone got any suggestions as I feel like I've tried everything.

i got the same question as spongebob1913, when is version 2 out, and where did you read about the specs of version 2

I've used another e-mail, set up newaccount (same address and code GBFORUK43 and it increases the price to £17.08!!

I guess for new accounts only as when i add voucher it just ups the price from 16.89 usd to 22.35

I did this literally yesterday - worked fine for me though. maybe the Singapore server?

How do I cancel order it said £8.80 all the way to PayPal then when I checked email they have charged me £17.48 wtf.

Can these automatically cycle through a range of colours? The kids want a 'disco' light for their bedroom and I wondered if this would do it?

It's on the Yeelight forums. It's late BTW, should have been Summer

The bulb will be ready by Oct or Nov due to some hardware changes. Compared to the current version, it's wide voltage (110 ~ 230v), it's 800 lumens

Very cool looking downlighters on their way too

Ha, these codes expire a bit quickly. Want a few of them but not willing to pay £17 when they're so frequently at £8.

Embarrassingly, my son set ours up so I will speak to him later and get back (unless someone way clverer than I sorts it for in the meantime lol).

Yeah that's some fast expiry.

Was literally looking at these for the last half hour and then thought I'd check on here.

If I'd looked on here first, I guess it would have worked.

Suppose I'll wait for the next code.

Well I'm at a loss then. It's the Singapore sever as Alexa works fine. I've tried re-installing Google assistant and everything. It's so frustrating when it should work, but no amount of googling is giving me any answers. I guess it's just me
