Use coupon "3ZOO0TXQ". Forgot to mention.
Bought one of these for 21 quid from amazon, this hurts me to see cause I could've bought two from here.
Cold not RGBCW!
2th generation? Lol

Does this work with Alexa over here, I've read the ones on a Chinese server won't, I have xiaomi bulbs I've bought from their UK store (well they come from France but you know what I mean) I'm lead to believe the two wouldn't play together nicely?
Brilliant light, very bright. Works a treat with Alexa. I travel a lot so often activate remotely
Have 3 or 4 of these in my house, great bit of kit. Works fine with Alexa for me, I use mine through the Singapore server as the German server wasn't available when I first set them up, not sure if it may be worth me moving them.

Seems a great price, might have to treat myself to another one... Thanks!
I remember waiting for these to drop in price, giving up and buying some WiFi smart bulbs from amazon for about £8 each - I don't regret it as they do what I need - I'm sure these are better overall but hey!
These are way too expensive for Chinese lights that will take month tho get delivered aswell, you can get bulbs that are just as good for £8 or so, e.g. the Lohas ones posted on here from Amazon.

Also works with IFTTT, Stringify, and supposedly newly smartthings. Great price for this second gen.
Thanks OP, have been wanting to try one of these for a while but when I've tried to order from aliexpress and the other similar sites my payment goes through and then they cancel and refund it - happened 3 times!

Have just ordered from geekbuying successfully using paypal - came to £11.54 when I used the code

Thanks. I know my wife has a problem with the 1st gen light strip from Yeelight which does "compound" the white from RGB and she says it messes with her eyes, but she has never had an issue with these RGBW bulbs that can be turned to 6500K and we even had it in the bedroom before we got Hue.

Can these be connected to smartthings directly?

Can these be connected to smartthings directly?

I do not know the answer to it yet I haven't done digging yet but they both now advertise integration. I wonder if Xiaomi hub is needed.

These are hub-less and instead connect directly to your WiFi network.

I know, that's why the integration to smartthings wasnt easy in the past.

Do you know if these work with the Xiaomi home app or do you use a separate app for the yeelight branded ones?
I use the yeelight app for my bulbs and also have light strips which can be controlled from the app and Alexa

Integration will then likely be through IFTTT. The lag this method will be quite noticeable.

What is the C for?

but if the white of this bulb is tuneable between 1700 and 6500K?

or does that mean the bulb should have separate diodes emitting presicely and only 6500K (or as you wrote, any ONE specific temperature >5000K)

read from roughly post 60
forum.yeelight.com/t/s…/60

it's not IFTTT (I used that previously), but it still seems cloud based and laggy...
so confusing with lumens and watts and not being the same thing, of course, but is this like a 40w, 60w or 100w incandescent on full brightness? And what colour is the full white, a cold blueish white or warm yellowish white? Tks.
Do these bulbs let of a coloured light as well as a white light?

It connects to Smart things via Yeelight API, no hub is needed

Have you done this? Is there delay? Does it work in smartthings classic? Thanks
