Was looking for my dad, he’s decided he wants a Go Pro instead.

Still a good price for those looking I think.

A great camera. I got it for £52 the day it released then the price seemed to jump to around 65-80.

Not sure off the company as not used before. But a great price for an amazing camera.

Aren't the SJCam variety normal 30 odd quid?
great camera, paid roughly this amount a couple of years ago and have used it a lot.

This one is better than the usual suspects around £30 simply because of the Sony image sensor. not that the £30 ones aren't good, just saying.
I've had this camera for a couple of years now, its quality is better than a GoPro 3 Silver and Xiaomi is like the Chinese Apple... Very good deal considering the price you can find the camera on Amazon or EBay!

i5?
Forget Go-Pro... I have a Go-Pro and a couple Chinese "clones" and to be honest the Go-Pro hardly gets used. Even $20 gets you some good video.

Disagree with that entirely. Tried a couple of SJ4000s and the image quality is pretty poor.
I have a GitUp 2 and it's great

More likely you bought fakes. Loads were going around. the proper SJ's were really good.

How would you tell the difference??? Want to know if mine is fake...
Not bad, soon it'll be the same price it was 2 years ago... It's a good camera and much better than the SJCam (and fakes) junk. Look on dashcamtalk and you can significantly improve the video quality from this by doubling the bitrate, not too hard to do and definitely worh it.

Without taking them apart it is not easy. A couple of youtube videos used to exist talking about it though. You could try and look them up. It might be worth looking at Techmoan's video on the SJ too. His review is so in-depth you should be able to compare and contrast quite well.
Anybody know which has the most comparable app to Go Pros offering?

i5?

a typo - they meant 'it' !!
Was a type-o the 5 is just above the t on my keyboard. It doesn't correct it for me based on having a number in the word. >

It was actually only £46 for me, thanks will come in handy when travelling to Bali
This camera is amazing got it 1 year ago for £50 n it can record in 2k at 30fps
I hope some of you can help but which 'budget' camera with good video has a very good battery life?
Spent a couple of weeks weighing cheaper action cams up before finally ordering a Firefly last week. Would have gone for this. I think you'd need to order an accessory kit separate.
it's SONY guts!
Good camera, but no case or accessories. Non-original cases around £6-£10. Does have a built-in tripod thread so for dry use you may be able to use that.

In the end I got fed up with having to use a phone app to control it, so bought a SJCAM SJ5000X Elite, quite a lot more expensive but has a screen for preview and controls.
Fantastic camera. Be sure to get the official waterproof case though as I believe there are some dodgy ones out there.

I bought this and use it regulatory while holidaying, cycling etc. Also as dash camera. Wonderful device.

However soon after I purchased I thought the focus was a little bit out. After some research online I found this to be the case as the lens is originally set up for selfies and not landscapes...so anything beyond selfie distance is blurry. It's a simple fix and done in 5 minutes, greatly reducing image quality.
Can anyone comment on how long the batter life lasts for?

It depends 1080p at 60fps 80-100 Min
What's the best cheap action cam with a LCD screen sick of arriving home and being disappointed with my holiday snaps
Has anyone bought from this site? Are they legit?
Has anyone ever ordered from volume rate?
It’s still around this price; I ordered one yesterday.
