With the news that whiplash claims have gone up dramatically, and having been a victim of the 'compensation culture' scammers myself this seems like a good price (£10-£15 cheaper than anywhere else) and might pay for itself if someone tries to scam you.

It seems to get relatively good reviews

So you don't have to take a Chinese language crash-course, make sure to get the *International Edition* for a bit more:

not convinced this is good value - I have had more problems than it been worth with my cheap Chinese cams, and I think this time I will go for the Transcend DrivePro 200 Dash Cam (£80) this time, hopefully I will get it cheaper on black friday / perhaps another deal but thanks for sharing

Checkout TechMoan on YouTube, he reviews many dashcams, and rates this one quite highly. For the price, I don't think it can be beaten on picture quality.

However I would recommend the international version, rather than the Chinese. You can flash the Chinese with the English firmware, however it voids the warranty and could potentially damage the camera (according to the manufacturer... apply your own grains of salt to that one)

Spend a Tenner more and get a 1080p mobius!

According to reviews this does 1080P at 60fps.

It also claims to do 1296p, but the review link I posted suggests this is interpolated.
