If the user overrides the limit, warnings about the risks must be repeated every 20 hours of listening time. The European Commission's assessment said: "Listening to music at 80dB or less is considered safe, no matter for how long or how often personal music players are used. This sound level is roughly equivalent to someone shouting or traffic noise from a nearby road.Chinese versions do not have this bullsh*t implemented.
Damn those pesky Europeans. How dare they take an interest in citizen well being. Much better to go with the Chinese system....
Ps the limit will still be built into your phone....but as per your text, you can override it anyway.

The sound limit/restriction is built into the phone's software when your region is set to an EU country.
It isn't built into the actual earphones.

There are many sellers on eBay which have these at around £16. The problem is that sometimes what you're buying is a cheap copy of the original...

I would be cautious about that seller, if you read carefully on the brand section, they've listed it as unbranded. Likely going to be a knockoff

Try Tin T2 and you wont need anything else. KZ's dont stand close to them

Its only bullsh*t if you don't care about suffering from permanent hearing loss. You can still play at the same maximum loudness just as the Chinese version does.

Charge lasts about 4 hours and the sound is 4/5. The case can be a little fiddly with the magnets but it's a minor gripe. For the money, they are excellent.

Type louder, I can't hear too good these days thanks to spending most of my teens with a Walkman on.

Bass isn't great on these, lacks power. Sound is clear though, I find them great just for going for a walk. In the gym though, they have an annoying habit of popping out (but I do callesthenics, so I'm swinging upside down and around a lot. 😁).
