Looking for a reaction here....before i buy one for a stag party in France happening in a couple of weeks..i.e if you own one of these little tangerines speak up!

I have one. The word that sums this up is.... 'incredible'!

For it's size, you won't believe the quality and loudness.

One would be perfect for a holiday hotel room. You may want to consider daisy chaining two (or even three, four or more) together for a party though.

love it!! same price here play.com/Ele…tml

Great Product!

I got one for the same sort of price from play.com:

- suprisingly small, squash ball more than tennis ball
- nicely made, rugged feel with velvety type coating
- very loud for a little thing
- has its own 3.5mm jack to connect to any music player + little carry bag
- comes with USB charging lead (it has a micro usb connection at the speaker end), this means you'll need a computer or a mains plug USB adaptor to charge it.

All in all very pleased with it having seen these big wide IPOD dock speakers at mates houses and only wanting something clear but small for camping and BBQs.

Bass is pretty good, Prodigy at full tilt had to be turn it down when showing the wife in the kitchen. Also sounds great for vocals, crystal clear.

Depends where you planning on using it though, it ain't gonna make much of a dent in a noisy party, but will more than adequate in a hotel room for pre-night out drinks!

The one I got is quieter then my iphone speaker. Must be broken

I have both this model and the LINX B-Tube listed here:

The X-Mini packs an astoundingly powerful punch for its size and is extremely portable. Overall though the B-Tube is in Stereo (X-Mini is mono), sounds louder (might be useful for what you want to use it for), exceptional build quality that oozes class and has the functionality for wireless connectivity via bluetooth (mobile phone, iphone etc); X-Mini doesn't have the bluetooth feature. However, B-Tube is not quite as portable, but is still small.

Don't get me wrong if you think I don't appreciate the X-Mini because it is fantastic - first day I took it into work and it was purchased by a colleague there and then after a sound test and I've given away a few as presents and everyone was overjoyed with it. However, they are the same price and it really depends if you are willing to accept that the sound quality won't fill a large room with the X-Mini, but you need the travel portability. Personally, the B-Tube is almost as portable, is louder and offers functionality that the X-Mini can't provide. But it's your cash!

Hope this helps.

P.S The B-Tube comes with a 3-pin plug USB charging socket that can be used with any USB socket and the X-Mini doesn't (just a lead) - that's got to be a couple of £ even as a HotUKDeal??!!

i have 2 that i daisy chain together, amazing sound from such a small unit... battery seems to last ages to.

Have a look at this one. Been watching the price for a while. Great revues

I've got one and it's great. Brilliant battery life and a great sound from such a little thing. I'd definately recommend one
