Xrocker Pro Pedestal 4.1 Wireless Gaming Chair Down to £79.99 Instore at Currys and PC World

Found 6th Jan 2013
I went onto the Curry's site this morning and preserved one of their wireless Xrocker gaming chairs for £99.99 but when I got into the store, I noticed they had one set up right by the front of the store, with a £79.99 price label on it. I asked an assistant if this was correct as the price had dropped once again for this week, and they clarified so I asked to cancel my reservation and I purchased one at the lower price! Found in Currys' store Aylesford. Unsure if nationwide so if anyone is nearby a Curry's, let us know!

I will be able to upload a picture of the receipt once I'm back at home (a couple of hours from now).

i dont think so.. your back should be straight.. this design is curved
looks good.
Let me put you onto a pedal stool
Just been to Blackpool Squires gate store and they didnt have any in stock. They told me to reserve one online and collect it later in store. I said it is £99 online and they said that would be what i would have to pay as they knew nothing of the £79 offer. I know £99 is still good but im not paying it, now i know you can get it for £79 in other Currys/PCworld stores.
Id happily buy for £79... £99 is to much haha

Can you upload a picture of the receipt. I wont leave tesco until I get itfor that price then ha

you'll be there all day then, seeing as it's currys/pc world
Not a very comfortable seat (sat on one in the store)
Ah damn!!! Bought mine on the 27th for £99... Very hot from me just a bit bitter! Would recommend them I find it very comfortable even after long playing sessions... Although despite what others have said it is definitely NOT 4.1 it has two dummy speakers at the base it is only 2.1 but still has a very good sound with no distortion even at max... The vibrations are also a nice feature playin blops 2 it feels like shiatsu =>
Very comfy chair. Only problem is that it's not adjustable.

if its the same one as mine then it should be 4.1..mine doesn't have dummy speakers.

No it's not!It's 4.1

Well mine IS 2.1 ... 1 subwoofer, 1 left speaker and 1 right speaker in the backrest = 2.1 sound.
The two speakers in the seat are false, ie just grills for decoration .... I know this cause there was no sound coming from them so i took the grills off and there is NOTHING there.
Honestly, you try to warn people and .....
Would rather buy one of these ikea.com/gb/…69/ and use my headphone for complete surround sound

I'd take yours back cos mine has speakers in the base too.

Did it say 4.1 on the box yours came in?
Want this so bad. - Think it'll come to £60? Need a new desk chair desperately for studying with
This will be excellent, I've been trying to upgrade from all the wired chairs I have round my house. To have a wireless one I can just pick up and sit on anywhere would be ideal...
Actually i'd find this more comfortable .

Just to give everyone a headsup, I purchased this chair from Pcworld/Curry's albeit at £99, It has Definately got 4 Speakers, The bottom two are not just grills but actual speakers, But my Box did say 4.1 as did the pc world advert. I understand there is some rocker chairs which only have the 2.1 Speakers which is why this one was a better buy.

In particular X-Rocker Brand the 4.1 Chairs as X Rocker Pro H3.

The Chair is Fantastic for gaming, I have a 5.1 Bose Setup in my gaming room and i prefer this chair because for the bose to work i have to really crank the volume up (Annoying Neighbours), this doesn't need that level of volume as the speaker are embedded closer, The vibration is also brilliant, Play it with Halo 3 and the chair comes alive.

The only problem is the Wireless Speaker solution, Although it works
1) It Eats Batteries (Energiser Hi-Tech lasted a Week)
2) During Extremly Loud moments sound cuts out (Does not occur when wired)
3) Trying to use a Maplins Power adaptor to Supply the Wireless Receiver with Power to circumvent the battery needs, Introduces Signal Noise (Buzzing)

Im still more than happy with the chair, Hopefully it gives people food for thought.
is this for adults?

6ft, 12 clem
I had one these, they are not very comfortable at all especially for any length of time. Sound and rumble effects are great but the chair is very uncomfortable. Sold on ebay in the end
I bought this for my son for Xmas and paid £139.99 from curry's, I have to say it Ive got one happy boy since buying this, Money well spent I'd say
their very uncomfortable for an adult. i bought one but never really used it. nothing beats a good old sofa
Are these to big to fit in a Mini Cooper? Lol.. My closest one is 20 Miles away?
That is so ugly.
Receipt?????
Been into Currys and still priced at £99.99 - was also told that this was the price in ALL other stores
Very comfy, im 6ft tall and have no problems at all. Padding is supportive and overall a lovely chair to sit on.
does anyone know if the height on this is adjustable or not. would love to sit at my pc with this but looks to low in pictures.

I could have been tempted at £79 but none in stock in any local stores according to their website!
strange this is so hot and so far the op is the only one who got it for this price, and the receipt is still no where to be seen. eager beavers
There's hardly any in stock ANYWHERE anyway...
i have one too and they are brilliant ,,ok not comfy chair but still fine,,soundand effects is great ,best thing i ever bought for gaming
