If HMV ire is anything to go by be prepared for shocking customer service
Shame it's not the 1TB version for that price. Still a good price for now though but I'm playing the waiting game.
Decisions, decisions.... Been looking at either a PS4 or Xbox One. Was leaning towards the PS4 but I love the Xbox controller. Aiming to wait to see if BF has any better deals and have about £130 in clubcard vouchers, but have no idea which way to go......aaarrrgggghh
£274.99 From the .co.uk site using the same code without Blu-Ray LINK
€399 is actually the standard price in the Republic Of Ireland! Perhaps the rest of the EuroZone too but I can only speak for Ireland. Argos Ireland had it for €350 a while ago i think.
https://www.vg247.com/2015/06/22/new-1tb-ps4-available-from-july-in-europe/ The 1TB model will continue to use original console architecture, the platform holder told Eurogamer.
The new 1 TB it seems
Will these be the new or old model?
Yh I was reading about it. Its just that there are so many bad reviews online about the website. I felt like this offer was too good to be true, considering they are also selling just a ps4 500gb for 399 euro. Anyone purchase this 1TB offer?
Thanks, had already pre-ordered with HMV £19.99 and the code works, £4.55 saved. Heat
Works on the UK site to, just tested :)
These the same as HMV releases? or is Xtra Vision owned by HMV?
Yes. https://www.gamestop.ie/Xbox%20One/Games/52628/fifa-16-xbox-one-1tb-console Go for this one it works out about £280 but worth it a you get a year EA access and the console is 1TB (plus FIFA of course).
am i being too optimistic wanting to hold out for xbox one + fifa 16 for closer to the 200 mark?
Depends which part mate
That's a pity. Out of Stock. 10% off with the May Bank Holiday too.
Good price, but is it as good as it's PS3 predecessors?
BACK IN STOCK! 2 Units left
That went quick!
It says no stock...
Just realised! :D
Good deal, but says no longer in stock lol
great price for a great game but don't expect too much from the watch
Doesn't work unless I'm doing something wrong
Why is this being voted as Cold? Is probably the cheapest price online that I've found over recent months. The PS4 version is the same price. I think the Cold votes is due to the games age no doubt!
good, but you can't use party chat if you're remote playing a game (I use it on my Xperia right now, and lack of party chat is frustrating)
So long as you aren't trying to play "twitch" FPS games, the lag is minimal in my experience. Action games in general are fine for me. I won't pretend it's perfect, but I bet most people who are experiencing problems, can tweak a few settings here or there to make it a better set-up. 60fps mode also helps hugely to reduce some of the poor experience - I felt that the lower fps setting made it appear to lag, mainly because of the way 30fps feels jarring, not because it actually was lagging. Either way - perfect for my needs and works exactly as I intended it to. Plenty of people happy, but it does seem plenty not to boot. Saying generally "it's rubbish" is a bit of a knee-jerk reaction from most in my opinion.
I have one of these and connected initially over powerline adapters. Poor at best. Changed to a proper LAN and following the recent update from Sony, it's much, much better. Not perfect by any means, but certainly cheaper than sticking a second PS4 in a room you might use now and again. My LAN is gigabit too, but just to confirm to those who are not techie, that makes little difference as the PS TV doesn't have a gigabit LAN port as I understand it. Cabling is the best way to go for sure. I could play FarCry 4 without any major issues, and my son plays Plants v Zombies online and that's fine too. Heat at this price though for sure!:|
I'd pass, I got this on the 45 deal from game. Within 2 days I took it back. I'm wired cat 6 in the house with gigabit switch. I connected directly over the lan. There is a lag, let's not kid ourselves and for dying light it just felt unplayable at 1080i or 720p. Due to the half a second delay. I was hoping this would be great, if you are not sure get it from game.. Open it carefully and return it if you experience the same. Just to reiterate. Connected via lan. Direct connect to ps4. Laggy over Cisco gigabit switches.... About half a second lag, the lag does make a difference...
Get a decent network then it'll work
