A very good product - it does the job well. My only criticism with the new model is that they got rid of the dial that allowed to vary the speed of the engine; so its on a constant power.

Our neighbour has one similar to this. He spends half an hour setting it up and getting it running right and another half an hour mowing his 10 square metres of grass.......what a great way to annoy neighbours with all the smell and noise.

Had one of these and was pretty disappointed with the quality of it - both durability and engine power. It lasted a year and a half and then died. I have since got a qualcast. It was a shop returned item bought off ebay. It cost half the amount above but the quality is infinitely better. I do have several bits of Xtreme kit which I am very happy with, but this is one I woouldn't recommend.

Yeah, fantastic.

As previous poster 'nipnip' Argos showroom had one on display last year and it didn't seem very well built. I like the idea of the plastic deck but stress on the handle mounting will take its toll and the mount will fail. I saw one at our dump with that problem. I also got a Qualcast advertised as shop returns from the bay [ferrartis] last year for £69 delivered, Fantastic quality in comparison with a Briggs and Stratton engine. Before first use I coated the underside of the deck with Hammerite and then undersealed it! Rusting of the steel deck is the only reason my previous Qualcast expired after 16 years!

Well my last one only lasted two years. But in terms of performance... it did a good job. Its better to get a quality machine that lasts.

I bought an Xtreme electric chainsaw from Argos and it was crap chain kept jumping off and trying to dismember you!! Brought it back and got a Bosch. What a difference. Avoid!!
