A great heads up. I bought my 4 bags earlier and the XXL one's were in a different part of the store to the standard 5 KG one's. BTW, about time this went hot

Have a tasty bbq

Have a tasty bbq

or two, or three.... thanks

a good price but i really wouldnt recommend using briquettes, have a look around and do a bit of reading then get yourself a good bit of coal and you'll have a much tastier bbq. All the good you get from bbqing is lost by all the off garbage they stick in the briquettes, based on the price god only knows what it is

Want a good BBQ ask a butcher

Wonder if these are any good for a long smoke. Also noticed some cheap ones in B&M that stated suitable for smokers and also wondered just how good they were compared to Weber's as an example.

For smoking they recommend Lumpwood over Charcoal

"London Bank Holiday weather: Arctic blast heralds miserable forecast after unseasonably warm April". Typical.

Not a huge fan of lumpwood really. Seem to get a far longer and more consistent burn with weber briquettes.

I use old tyres and diesel. Even when it rains my bbq always burns for five days longer than i need it to.

Bought a couple of bags to try anyways.

Used the Lidl briquettes tonight and not that impressed really, plenty of heat to start but they did not last very long at all

Can't complain at this price still cheaper to just top up half way through than pay usual prices, thanks
