These are awesome, on the very rare ocassioans we've had to deal with snow or worse compacted icy snow, I can walk with confidence.
These were amazing a few years back was thick ice at a petrol station on a slope.. everyone was slipping and falling popped these on and walked normally

I didn't want to admit I did show off a little bit lol
I bought these in New York years ago. They were ok in snow but yhe second you walked on a flat non icy surface they were really bad.

I rate the ones with carbon tip grips instead like Petzl Spiky.
