Where could you possibly fit a safe in your house?? Too risky or is it safe

In the loft? Under the sink? Under the stairs? Do you live in a tent or something?
I find these types of safes pretty much useless. Unless they are embedded in the wall or in the floor.

If you have valuables worth £1000s (and documents) then its worth spending a few £100s on one of those solid steel super heavy safes that can only lifted by 10 or more men with lifting equipment. They are drill and fire resistance fitted with re-inforced solid steel door plate. And its bolted down by a nut/bolt. I have one. They weight nearly 100kg.

Is it? Happy days for all then!
Heat from me, I've had this safe for a few good years, If I remember correctly I paid £34+ for it.

true if a thief came across this, just lift the whole thing!
They usually come fitted with large floor bolts, so you can secure them. It's best to hide it as the primary method of security and then have it bolted in case they find it.

Many of these also offer limited protection in the event of fire, so they have another use.

its an instore deal still full price at both my locals
bolted or not these are useless if found by a thief, one sharp thump on the top front edge whilst turning the handle causes the bolt to spring and render the lock redundant. you tube it if you don't believe me. It's quicker to force entry like this than to enter a code!
You can open these with a potato!

Yes bolting them to the wall will prevent this being lifted. Of course you get what you pay for so if 10 men with a crane, bull doser or crow bar break into your house, yes, it'll probably go missing!

One guy with a decent weapon threatening to use it on your family member(s) will get it opened pretty sharpish.
I don't understand why things have to be so negative on posts? It's a DEAL that's been posted. If you don't like it, don't post.
I dont understand why people who post deals feel they have to also moderate the thread.

No one that I can see has taken it to be anything other than a safe. Some mentioned it maybe pretty crap/useless. All opinions should be welcomed.

Plus your first comment was pretty rude:

But not many others did. This is just a 'half-price' remaindered stock item which will be available in...I guess....one store!

(Which actually isn't half-price!)

Not negative, but these things are about as useful as a paper bag in keeping your things secure, so to warn others is a good thing.
