That's a good price. Should give decent coverage to most homes with 2 entrances.

Link it with Philips Hue to get red lights flashing everywhere when the alarm goes off.

200m range means door contacts and pir sensors in the garage, shed etc.

Add guests to your account temporarily with their own pin e.g. house sitter or visiting family/friends.

Extend it with up to 40 different accessories. DIY installation. I recommend it.

Trouble is thiefs don't know that. They will only find that out once break in to your house. This is probably act as a deterrent.

What's the difference between ia-320 and 340? Each are sold in so many versions (10 piece, 14 piece etc). It makes it difficult to figure out if there is any benefit for me to upgrade from a yale ef kit2 (edited)

I have both (Yale at my parent's) and the Ring system is better in every way if you don't specifically want the SMS alerts to x people on alarm triggering (the Ring doesn't have this but does have a 'call people' service if you pay the subscription)

Probably but this hasn't got the subscription chrage. Appreciate if you are already in the ring ecosystem then it'll not cost more but most of other might not want to pay that to uave a smart security system at home.
