Have this! We love it, it’s on our inside door so when we take the dog for a walk etc don’t have to faff with keys
Does it have a manual override if you forget pin etc

Which one best for uPVC doors?
You need the yale conexis l1 for upvc doors. I've had it for a few years now and it works well.

only works with 60mm back-set nightlatches i missed that bit when i purchased mine
So if I want it to work with my smartphone I need to buy FOUR items: 60mm backset nightlatch: plus the item listed here plus Yale access module plus connect wifi bridge. Too complicated for me

In order to unlock via phone you need to get the hub which is £80

I'm sure this will make it easy for thrives to break in! The number of 4*4 Land Rovers being stolen regularly is insane! Everything can be done via a laptop. Obviously, you got to be in the know-how, but definitely much easier than with a key!
In all honesty night latch locks are the easiest lock to get into for myself as a locksmith. Whether this is a key or a smart lock, i'd be in the same time. So I'd say it doesn't matter.

So if my door has the 60mm nightlatch already, I can just switch out the old Yale keylock and put this onto the front of my door?

Has anyone got the link to the full booklet

Shame this would not be covered by landlord insurance
Better off purchasing from sold secure if you want reputable security.

Looking for access to back garden gate. Would this be suitable for a gate
What's the point you could just reach over and open it

Can you unlock this just by tapping your phone (if you have the wifi module)?
I believe so but here's the but here's the manual google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=help.yale.co.uk/wp-…MtX you can also buy tags that stick or go between phone and case which will unlock by tapping.

If you have a z wave / zig bee / SmartThings setup it worked really well with the optional module. yalehome.co.uk/z-w…-2/

We’ve been using it for rears, really handy as you can assign codes to people or just leave without a key but granted a bit of a time/money investment if you’re starting from scratch.

After the update a couple of years ago (was draining a lot of battery) were really happy with it.
That’s zwave only right? Pretty sure you can only get the zwave and wifi modules in uk.

Shame they don’t sell the zigbee module in the uk.

I bought ten, sorry everyone but they we all needed and great timing and saved me a decent lump.
  20. Avatar
Can this be fitted to a composite door?
Only if you have a 60mm nightlatch in it.
  21. Avatar
    Is it compatible with Ring?
could never get either this or the l1 working with the ring alarm ,even though i was using the zwave adapter and ring alarm uses zwave
