Uses a 7 pin tubular lock, again easily picked with a £6 tool from your local friendly chinese based site.

hi, it seems you know alot about safes. Could you suggest one to me for under £50 which would be a good safe. Would be great.

Don't forget it says small so I can expect to be really small

I got this safe, does the job very solid & well made little safe.

Obviously not going to stop the likes of Chiptivo

pretty sure most of you guys dont have any valuables worth stealing

Just get it for passport etc. he'll to replace if you come from the continent

I agree with Chiptivo, these budget electronic safes are notoriously easy to get into. The electronic aspect gives most people the false sense that they are somehow more secure when in fact the locking mechanism is just a simple solenoid that can easily be bumped. Here is another video which shows various methods to gain access and also the cheap locking mech they use youtube.com/wat…AiY
If buying a budget small safe then always buy one with a proper mechanical lock, it still won't stop a determined thief but it will stop anyone who knows the simple tricks to get inside the electronic type. Also consider looking for an ammunition safe as they are all mechanical locks and are usually pretty good value for money and do the same job, there are a few on amazon.

order five for a laugh - courier will love it..... then reject delivery....
p.s. I have one (ok not this one) of these electric safes - only used to stop wife getting the cash. Anyone who wants to get in can. You pull the electric off and behind is a hole about size of 2p you then push the rod to the right. It's what I have to do whenever I want access now.
Other than that - hit it with a sledge hammer.
